how is that thing overpowered?
i mean i have a single one of those but i never used it. im not a melee person and id rather use a harvester over one of those. still how good are they? they seem a bit hard to run if you ask me.
First of all, they have a perk which enlarges the damage area. But the collision of the saw itself doesn’t changes, so it can literally penetrate anything that’s 2 pins or shorter.
Yes, even something that’s supposed to hold melee damage reasonably well.
Plus any good charybd build will have something like this which allows them to wedge your craft and destroy your chassis in less than a second if they’re lucky
Also it’s quite literally the only melee weapon that can rack up kills with a hover build
ah, the classic wedge build eh?
ah i was curious as to how that perk actually worked. i knew it made the hit box bigger but i didnt know it extended how far it reached. huh… interesting bit of info there.
so wait… you say the hitbox doesnt change but… mm… so lets say they run past the blades when they are extended but dont hit the main hitbox of the weapon itself, it wont take damage but it will damage any part that it comes across?
It’s the same gameplay and players use the same kinds of builds, so the comment is valid.
CC is training ground for BFU, as above, you fight the same ways and use the same sorts of builds.
Then how do you even know anything (apart from what others say)? My guess is you don’t.
How do you know they use cam steer? I have meat grinder builds and don’t always, but then it is part of the game so why not?
By the by, it’s not wheeled build, so what’s your actual complaint here? Wheels are meta… but proven they aren’t because they can be easily combated, it’s quite easy and common tactic to pin enemies sideways and destroy them with said meat grinder brick Seriously, every wheeled build (apart from Titans) usually gets disabled pretty quickly, Titans eventually succumb it just takes longer. Also a couple of good shots will do it too.
Yes, this is why charibdas live way longer than a harvester for example, despite having less HP.
This 2 pin damage area increase helps them having less contact damage on themselves
its a training ground for bfu AND clan wars. i ran CC a few times and came across alot of wheel builds in there, more then i seen in clan wars in the past when i played.
past experiences and i keep tabs.
then explain to me why players were validating to me why this mode was “”““NEW””“” when it came out despite me saying it wasnt new and was just a clan wars reskin but for newer players?
i see. i never seen them when i did pvp before even in the next step modes. im guessing they are only used in cc / cw / bfu??
only downside is they have to be behind the enemy but i assume thats easy to pull off with not just a wedge build but also a yeti… though you have to find a way to fit that ungodly thing on your build.
Because at that time they were so OP that by using one you’ll up your BfU league way too fast.

Nah, they can kill you in one second even if they go from the front. They can deal damage with the flat part of their saw, and your chassis usually rests right on the said flat part… Go figure out the rest
Wheels are the most common and I proved this. If you ask for a super aggressive and obnoxious solo rambo build its always got wheels. It is by far the most common and obnoxious pvp build. They got the least powerscore, the best perks, the most durability by far, the highest speed, much less uphill acceleration penalty and more close quarters maneuverability than everything except hovers. Name a braindead build that can rambo an entire team under 10kps, its got wheels regardless of weapon type. When epic wheels can tank a ghost spikex3, icebox jackie 88x2, Ghost Astraeus, or even scorps/typhoons there is a serious fuckin balance problem. Its become so bad that most diehard hover/gerrida/omni players are playing wheels now. I’ve been forced to downskill and play wheels because my omnis dont fucking work now. If those players didnt switch they flat out quit because I do not see their names anymore at all.
Nothing to be scared of , if you ask me.
resourceful, but not that impressive.
Impressive it’s why most builds are not prepared to counter, at least, to a certain level this kind of META, it’s the main factor certain METAS ARE META and can go as a hot knife cutting butter, as he says.
The reality is, This META unlike others is not hard to counter and if there were more builds offering some kind of resistance an overall resistance presented by the builds, this kind builds wouldn’t be META. At least at 8 k.
That example, as others have an exposed cabin, you just have to hang on in there longer than him.
In most cases, where builds like these pin down a adversary prepared to deal with them, they are in a disadvantage, two things will happen.
Or they lose
or they receive heavy damage reducing their effectiveness to further combat, sometimes the next encounter they meet or seek it’s just to receive the mercy blow.
agreed
typically you see more tracks and legs as you get up in ps (like 15k+)
This is due to how much armor, weapons, and equipment of higher powerscore, and being fast, while helpful, isnt as much of a priority over properly keeping your weapons from being stripped.
At the lower powerscores (12k and down) you primarily see faster nimble builds with more exposed weapons and cabins, this is not only due to powerscore but it is also the fact that you have much less armor and bulk, meaning you’re a smaller target and therefore more speed makes it even harder to hit. This is another reason when you get into higher PS you see the bulkier movement parts, because of bulkier weapons and more armor so slower builds and need more tonnage and weight. Even wheeled builds at higher ps (for the majority) are only around 75-85kmh top speed.
I play a lot of wheels, and they are more competitive now than in the past.
But as several others have already said, if you play CC and/or BfU you will see several other movement parts heavily represented in the main metas.
As far as wheels being too durable, I lose wheels all the time. There are much tankier movement parts.
That’s a bias confirmation ( am i using this right? )
Because if you had BFs and be shot at them you would think otherwise.
I think harden tracks are more reliable to take shots.
Hey, maybe it’s from me, the bias confirmation is coming from .
Maybe because they’re cheap? Hovers are 300-500 money and you’d need at least 5 of them, same with augers, MLs are a high PS thing and you’d need 10 of them fused, but wheels? There are literally hermits that sell for 50 money lmao
you’re wrong for two reasons.
Wheels are good for random because random players are literal sheep with 0 knowledge of teamplay. If a sheep just goes 1v4 you’d need to “sell” him, he wouldn’t do any gamechanging damage, but while the enemy team absolutely destroys him, you can at least deal damage while they’re at it. It’s just happens that with slower builds it’s harder because that one sheep is way too fast.
And second reason why you’re wrong - hovers exist.
This isn’t uncommon btw, and i’m speaking as a hover main.
But there are actually more issues with wheels.
Wheels don’t have strafe and they have a HUGE power loss when turning:
Crossout has a bugged physics model, which screws up wheels the most, while some builds benefitting from it (hovers can use walls to boost themselves while augers can STRAIGHT UP TELEPORT I’M NOT EVEN KIDDING):
Wheels have to actively push, which means that they’re at a disadvantage. Hovers / spiders / augers can just defend and take advantage of this.
You go face-first into the wall? 80% certain death or loss of all guns.
You accidentaly flip because of insanely bad physics? 50% certain death or loss of all guns.
You go against spiders / augers / hovers that can either defend or move backwards from you? If you don’t have a measurably higher skill level it will be a loss.
Spider packs.
Maybe because skill issue and bad build?
This build is just free kill delivery service, my guy :)))
You post massive walls of text that are incapable of refuting the obscene percentage of CC and pvp builds 9k or below using epic wheels that all have overpowered stats and perks. Your image of a match againt craz proves nothing at all, am I supposed to change my mind because you beat some tards using special wheels and crap builds at 11kps?
You mean atoms, omnis, ml200, and gerridas with -60% acceleration when going uphill or pressing 3 movement keys simultaneously?
The stats dont lie man. Wheels should not be eating the most powerful alpha strike epic and legendary weapons in the game while going 110+kmh.
