Some hover beaten us solo simply because he’s * a hover *.
And i’m a hover main, so these situations are common. I can send you multiple clips and videos ranging from 2020 where i’ve won rounds solely because i was * a hover *, thus disproving your claim:

Your ignorance on physics means that you didn’t even care to watch the videos i’ve sent where wheeled builds just get flipped on ANY bump, wedge or seemingly on literally nothing… and you try disproving this by “b-but muh uphill :(((((”?
Dude.
Lol you are losing your patience with me. No he did not do all the work despite what his score says. You are lyinnnnn your ass off if you want to say he would have 1v4’d your whole team if his teammates left to garage early. His teammates were running shit builds with special wheels, but they were still pressuring and distracting your team while running cover for the hover, with atleast 3 of them having the same clan tag which almost guarantees they were in voice chat.
Which stats?
The ones that you’ve made up or stats like crossout info which once again disproves the “wheel meta”? https://en.crossout-info.com/weapons/kv/2025-12
Take a look. Most of these 51+ % WN guns are hover, spider or auger with some exceptions.
Maybe you aren’t a CW player (and i don’t blame you since it’s a dumpster fire with literally 70 clans that do farm uranium and the others struggle to do anything).
And CC is, in fact, slightly wheel-oriented, but ONLY because wheels are easy to sell your useless teammates, if there are any. Have you ever found any 4 player spider / hover group in CC? Confrontation from - 17.03.2025 The player Masonov
Full hovers basically don’t leave anyone a chance. We weren’t even communicating via discord and somehow got a formiddable WN.
And, once again, let me remind you that we also got auger / hover focused pack in BfU on the same 9k PS range which had the same outcome, i’m just repeating my words at this point.
OFC i am, you’re ignoring almost everything i’ve sent you (and even if you don’t and cherrypick the examples, you’re somehow drawing different conclusions???), and expect people to care. Ok.
Regardless of what this guy says wheels have powercrept every movement part at 9k. Its overwhelming how much more dominant they are now than they were 1-2 years ago.
In what world you’d think “there’s too much of something therefore it’s good”?
Aight. Here’s my opinion on all of the examples you’ve sent earlier. Barely of these are good for the random match quality standards, yet alone group vs group or BfU.
Spoiler
It should be obvious why these builds are bad… but judging by your build, i know why you say something about “wheeled meta” in the first place.
These guys are using thyrsus because it’s common for more skilled players to get C tier weapons and form a group in CC, then bragging about their “skill” on unpopular weapons because they somehow managed to destroy random players…
It seems that you’re oblivious to what a “toper” is.
(i know it because i’ve used thyrsus too for the exact same reason, but then switched to a sKiLlFuL aUgEr when it became way too tough)
Notice that it’s got 6 wheels instead of 4, the wheels aren’t weak themselves, guns are in a “/” configuration instead of a ladder configuration (it’s like, 2022 meta, and your “bed” configuration is… maybe 2019 meta???).
Wheels aren’t an issue once you get the hang of weapon meta and building meta. Once you’ll get there, you will have LOTS of issues with hovers, augers and spiders. Trust me on this one.
I’m glad we can discuss with less hostility now, we would probably be friends if we were in the same hemisphere. I do not have a problem dealing with the players as much I do dealing with myself because I want to play Omnis, Atoms, etc but I cant because wheels have powercrept everything at 9k out of competitive play.
I appreciate your build suggestions. That build was a prototype and it never saw battle before that screenshot. In reality this is what its skeleton looks like. Its got 30 energy, 5 wheels, 2 blue rads, a finwhale, and a maxwell. It is an incredibly powerful build and it is a tank for how small and fast it is. It doesnt care if the gasgen blows up.
And this is the refined version with more clothes.
Its more stable than every single Joule CC on the exhibition without exception, its center of gravity is below the top of my frames and centered just slightly behind that 5th wheel so it can get shot to shit, lose 2 wheels and still drive absolutely fine. I can drive around absolutely fine with just 2 wheels as long as one of them is my middle wheel, I can strip 3 wheels off, leave all my armor on and still drive 110kmh and have good enough steering to get around. Its got more usable firing angles and gun depression than the \ gun layout builds which is why I dont use them. I
Some of my gameplay btw if you think I’m complaining about wheels as a cope for being bad.
Poony you are the bitter type who will never hesitate to tear away any ounce of satisfaction and pride somebody has earned because it reflects your lack thereof. You have zero gameplay. You have so little footprint in game you might as well be a bot. Be a jaded and bitter boomer to someone who doesnt have a spine.
Yup. I should’ve been started with that first and not just fueling up the flames.
The problem is, any strafe movement part gets outclassed by hovers, legs or augers.
Omnis and atoms was added as a “replacement” for hovers, but as you can see it’s just garbage. Hovers get nerfed, omnis get buffed, but in the end hovers are still meta. This is why i was initially kinda angry at your post, since wheels (and wheel-based movement parts, like atoms and omnis) are already in a limbo state and i don’t want to see them get nerfed lol.
Not unreasonable, but there is still some immediate issues i see. Ammorack is easy to blow up, and 5 wheel confuguration is extremely dated (harv+spark+lance dogs had it in 2020-ish), with this config your steering is tighter and getting one (!) wheel chopped off means it becomes worse. Plus gun placement isn’t the best when it comes to wheeled builds.
The best results (survivability and turning) are achieved with either a “O” or “I I” combination.
But a general rule of thumb - anything that has less than 6 wheels will be underperforming.
Well, actually, there’s nothing shameful in being worse in terms of skill. People improve and we all been there someday.
Problems arise when people don’t want to improve… and there are people like that even at high PS levels and in competetive environments (spiders, for example)
The one problem with your footage is that you kinda misuse joules. Like there:
A good strategy in this case would be “kiting” your enemy at a significant range, not engaging in a close combat. Obviously it doesn’t works against all enemies, but it’s better against wheel-based crafts in general.
This is why i’ve suggested a “/” gun placement configuration. It helps with going along the sightlines and dealing massive damage at range, something that HEAVILLY counters wheels.
Having finwhale would also help alot (because of extra hp and accuracy).
I really suggest getting yourself a similar craft to what i’ve sent, but with finwhale, seal (or 2 chills) and a harmonizer, then trying out the sightline kiting strategy. It will be hard to learn at first, but after ~100 or so matches you’d probably understand who, where and how you should kite and wheels will stop being so toxic to you.
Thats already happened. Look at the lack of variety in 9k. Im so surprised, these sweaty whales who want to be as OP as possible spent 60+ USD on the new battlepass to make 9k Commit builds and all 4 of them have wheels. They skipped right past hovers, omnis, and legs and all fell on the same movement class.
These builds are actually really good from the looks of it, though i’m not yet sure if commit will be toxic at non-CW PS’.
It WILL be toxic on any range that’s higher than 12k for sure, this thing can be boosted to ~1800 dmg singletarget under the minmaxing circumstances (Jackie, catalina, jay and allied mars). You don’t even need an incinerator.
And keep in mind that this number is singletarget, means one part (in this case a cab). Add 85% more if you’re aiming at some structure cluster.
ALSO keep in mind that frame parts are technically structure parts… get where i’m going?
