Noticed a coupla things about the new building interface. First, it wasn’t necessary and does not make the building interface more intuitive for people accustomed to the previous one.
That being said, I found what might be a bug when modifying and repainting a build. Let’s say you have a purple-painted car (really, why would you use any other color) and you want to switch out a few parts for different ones. You replace the parts and attempt to paint the new ones purple, like the rest of the car. Except, you can’t just pick up the purple paint can and paint the new parts; you have to right-click the paint and select “use”, first. If you select a paint not currently used on the car, it works the normal way (no having to right-click/“use”). Not a big deal, but just annoying as it slows the process down.
Secondly, when selecting parts, the parts already on the car are still shown in the part selector, but are shaded out. For instance, let’s say you own 4 fender extenders, and want to add more fender extenders to your car, and already have 2 mounted. When you go back into the part selector, you’ll see 2 selectable (unused) fender extenders, and 2 more which are shaded out. I realized this when making a fast update to a car, and was clicking on a shaded-out part (not realizing it was shaded out at first), but it wouldn’t let me select it. Took a moment to figure out why.
