Regular pvp gameplay is vastly different on pc:
- way more “meta trash” users
- way more group play (4-man teams)
- less bots (depending on day of time) which in itself makes a huge difference in how people (have to) play
- “bad build” players are even worse than on playstation
- mouse aim obviously improves certain weapons, but also…
- pc has a surprisingly high amount of drone- and guided-missile-players, way more than i would have expected when i switched over.

we had seperate forums years ago. but both console forums were practically dead excluding the few teenagers still rampaging there.
it was then when the coolest of the console kids started migrating to the pc forum. it was met by furious resistance by the locals at the time.
i myself, as a young commander in the armies of pc masterrace, was in this battle. i lost many good men and their efforts were entirely in vein. the hordes of console orcs zerg rushed us to death.
the result is this forum and the countless fallen souls that haunt it for the rest of time.
Are there still less bots after console switched to 6v6? I find no-bot matches pretty common now, depending on the PS range.
I would estimate that one or two bots per team is pretty average, with less during peak times.
Edit: I just noticed that the differences you mention are close to the differences I see between peak hours and quieter hours on PS4. Weekends feel much more like you describe PC, compared to middle of the day on a weekday.
I can only talk of 2 groups on Xbox with my own experience lately.
Group 1: I play ultra-high PS PvP on Xbox - I normally play at US primetime and I’m on the east coast - most/many of these battles are 100% players and no bots.
Group 2: I play Confrontation anytime I see it open - still mostly at US primetime because that’s when I have time to play - I know this mode does not have bots 
but I instant que almost every game. Very little wait, if any.
I do sometimes test 9k Confrontation builds in PvP and the games are still pretty full of all players at that PS too, but I don’t honestly play enough games at that PS level to be a good judge.
I think some peoples issues have to do with timezone/location, PS level they play at, and their engineer level.
Also Guys that get past 30 engineer and still play in the kiddy pool might have to wait for games.

I thought at 10 or 30 you were out of the kiddie pool automatically? Or do you mean other stuff like Patrol etc?
I think they mean that once you get past level 30, the queue time for low PS games may go up, because you are no longer getting lumped in with brand new players.

Correct at 30 (not 10) - but you will have guys that are still playing like 2499 and 4699 - if you are level 30+ engineer you still have every right to play at that power score and smokem if you gotem, BUT those guys will come here after playing for years and wonder why they don’t have all real players and why they have long que times.
It’s because everyone else that is at that level has moved on. That is not a game issue.
