So, how are you all feeling about what we saw in the stream? Hopeful, worried, something in between?
I am not that worried about them personally, an explosive weapon and a missile weapon that seems powerful at a first glance, but
So did the Thresher, so did the Lucifer, so did the Waltz, and people were worried of the Vulture when it was initially revealed. I myself know this game and it’s relationships with missiles, grenades and explosive damage to not really be worried about the new guns. Impulses were buffed to be good, but rapidly nerfed. Threshers have been buffed like 3-4 times now since their release and they are still mediocre at best and sucky most of the times. Vultures were abandoned all together. And as such I don’t feel bad about missing out on them. Sure crickets are pretty fun and can be good from time to time, but every missile or explosive weapon in the game is mostly just really flashy looking but just plain out sucks.
Even if they are super OP for whatever reason, so we have something else that is viable than Retchers, Retchers still are not that great compared to the more overused weapons. And then they’ll nerf it at some point because this game has a long track record of just not letting missiles or explosive weapons be good
