A good chunk are p2w, or are the deranking team of some Gold clan, leeching off the weekly ura. You just have to watch some of those fused tin scorps play to know exactly how deep their pockets are.
As a side note, never swipe your CC to fuse Scorps, hoping to get free wins lmao. Swipe your CC for Breakers, Punis or Flash, not some weapon that requires being somewhat good.
So true, when scorps used to be super OP I had a few guys in our clan sell everything they had in the garage for scorps. Then they realize they suck at scorps and loss all interest in the game because they don’t own anything they can make work.
The TOW bug was great, even though I didn’t own any, so was usually a victim to that insane impulse.
I really think they should bring that bug back as an intentional feature/perk.
Only time that weapon has seemed appealing to me.
been playinc cw 4
years , 50% bronze , 30% silver , 15% gold (and5% tin and rust) , 6000 clan battles , so YES i think i know what i m talking about , thanks.
note and edit that was a reply to Kehich but i have no clue how this chat system works
And how does that correlate with your statement about “players from most top clans usually buy the packs anyways”? You may have played gold league but that does not prove those “top players” purchased most packs en masse.
I got my first porcs as a F2P player. There wasn’t scanners etc then. I did not buy any packs during the two years I played CW. Between ore and scrap I had lots of coin all the time.
I just sold ore and bought what I wanted off the AH.
Pack buying started after CW, when I had relics and nothing else. I changed to going for variety instead of relics.
(the game became more fun for me then also, not that I didn’t have fun before)
That is how my purchasing has went with XO. I spent way more real life money when not doing CW’s.
There needs to be a sense of urgency to getting your ore it’s part of the competitive “feeling”. I don’t really agree with extending seasons. How does this incentivize clans that already cap out in a week to play the other three? Do they get punished by being forced to play to hold their position without reward?
Edit: I mean they are not playing clan wars for scrap, plastic, wires, batteries etc. They are playing for Ura.
Maybe 2 weeks?
I did mention that the cap and reward at the end of the season would be adjusted accordingly. If they cap all of their uranium in 1-2 weeks, that’s on them.
It’s also really frustrating when a team plays really hard to make it close to bronze, only to go back to 99 at the end of the week. The limited time windows don’t make it easier. I’m also guessing that the limited season time makes it more difficult for the MM to accurately assess a team’s rank.
The ideas of rewards for other resources are intended to attract newer players to join CW. The biggest problem is the lack of players. Besides, a majority of clans will almost never make it to bronze.
