Really?.. That’s some Hollywood stuff if I do say so myself
One of the things I love about this game is how one person will hate something & the next will love it. I was just reading comments over on FB, and two comments back to back were like this regarding the new update. The first one was a guy saying if this was permanent, he’d start playing XO again. The next was saying how trash it is. 
The flight feature is fun, I think that’s hard to deny, but the brawl obviously isn’t very popular. I haven’t even tried it. Unlike the developers, I could tell right off the bat that ranking system they are using was going to be masochistic and un-enjoyable.
I heard a rumor once that Pink Floyd secretly hated their fans. Just say’n.

I think, broken scoring aside, it’s mostly because the builds are trash. I mean… seriously bad trash.
When the Hyperboringans update came out, I joked about how stupid the Devs’ builds showcasing the new parts were… I mean, the Omnibox build has fuel tanks mounted to the sides of the cab up high completely un-armored. I surmised the devs have never played, so had no idea how dumb that was.
Others pointed out the builds were just to showcase the new parts & CKs, and weren’t meant to actually be used.
Ummm… yeah… about that… there’s an exposed gasgen on the helicopter. Other builds have their weapons mounted on the flimsiest parts in the game.
The builds, as they’ve always been for Spring Mayhem, are beyond trash. If I lose, I want to lose because the other guy is better (at building or fighting) not because I got tickled by a machine gun from across the map that just happened to tickle me in my perineum.
