seriously how brainless and stupid are people with these battle walker legs?
i literally just came across some idiot trying to ride one of those hover scorpion bots like a horse…
he was on top of it and trying to… idk pin it in a corner or something?
you might think hes using a melee weapon or something right? nope! hes running DRONES! he was using anacondas and a grenadier by the looks of it?
seriously, what the actual fuck is it with people on battle walker legs and face hugging every fricken enemy they come across?
STOP IT!
oh and the bot looked irritated to since he was launching shots into the guys face.
this guy was doing nothing but being an annoyance and preventing his team mates from doing their jobs. why do people do this?
They are facehugging so the enemy will not have a chance to salvage the fallen capsule. It is the number one most effective strategy in next step and if you want the face hugging to stop then the devs will have to change the rules of the game where your better off complaining on reddit for a minute chance of being heard. Why wouldn’t you facehug? just to give the enemy a chance to salvage the fallen capsule and the bots are notorious for going after capsules at all cost(the only thing in the game besides good accuracy that the bots are actually good at) so you need to get to it before they do!
do i need to? many people here know i play pve and not pvp.
because hes blocking peoples shots and being a nuisance. i come across this stuff far to often in raids and pve where people on battle walker legs will constantly get in your way, block your shots, facehug enemies, knock you out of the way and even boost into you for no reason. so excuse me for being even slightly upset. im not the only one who has an issue with this ya know.
Battle walkers are a huge annoyance and I am to the point I will leave any raid where I am the only wheeled vehicle. Point blank they are a menace if not used in coordination with other team mates. They don’t think about nobody else but themselves stumbling around like a drunken toddlers knocking team mates around without any concern of their consequences.
The games laws of physics pushing & or shoving doesn’t apply to them. Un like the wedge build physics nerf.
They should be able to be tipped over and have the ability to stumble and fall over things if not carefully executed.
In time sure the Dev’s will add the invisible barrier as many map items have currently to prevent the
broke back riding phenomena.
Personally I would rather see them with the movement physics of the Three Stooges.
In raids, I play battle walkers in the back so I can shoot over people. However, when I’m on wheels, the battle walkers get in front and block targets and paths.
its like i said, if theres an exploit in the game or anything of the sort you know people will take advantage of that whenever they can. this isnt the case with the legs but hey if it allows them to be more of a jerk theyll do it.
Easy Raids are where I do actually enjoy walkers occasionally. They are fun to build silly stuff with, and it’s a place (PVE) where silly stuff can still be very effective.
Using the wheeled builds as meat shields seemed like the natural thing to me too, since you can fire over them so easily. I saw no reason to get in their way and try to steal kills myself, even in the goofiest of my walker builds. I’m fine with them drawing all the fire. Whatever. I could still rank as high as I cared to.
I see no need to hog raids like that.
The nerd in the big-ass face-hugging crutch-build blocking everybody’s game has always been an issue, but I agree that it is more of an issue now with the new legs, as far as PVE goes. They can be knocked over fairly easily though, so if you have to face a bully on mech-legs, I think you can.
Personally, I’m also very content to just forfeit the gas and leave a raid, or match, with dorks in it. No problem.
