Agreed. I’m not saying Nova Double Bubble is an impossible build to play against. I am saying that I look at the build, think I’m going to degun it instantly, and then get the smile wiped off my face with endless shield spam.

I have a Nova, Hover, Double Bubble, Double Reaper I built right after the patch and it is strong.
If you read back on the forum when they first announced the shield change I announced that I thought that build would be good.
It is good, but it’s not OP and you don’t see them everywhere.
It is a nice change of pace and a different play-style that I do enjoy.
The main reason I built it is for after the cannon buff. If you think shields are good now, wait until everyone has to have one to compete

But next time you know to let someone else that can shoot through the shield deal with that guy.

Does interceptor work on shields?
If you use Interceptor between the time a Barrier 9 is launched and the time the shield goes up, it will work. If the shield is up already, Interceptor will not turn it off. I also think you can prevent Aegis from being turned on in the same way.
