How would you improve the red light even further than what it is?
I’d remove the grinder walls that were added to this current iteration of it, feels like needless clutter compared to the versions without them
I’d also equip more of the ravager builds with interceptors, and for the love of god give the ravager builds the same top speed as the normal cars, and remove the ones that handle like feces and just slide around aimlessly. That would help keep things a bit more fresh rather than the stale cheese fest it usually is once everyone is running the token red light builds and setups that can autowin the game because you can’t deal with drones or drive fast enough to catch survivor builds
Or the top speed needs to be limited on the survivor builds so that ravagers can compete, the mode has gotten very stale in victory/loss being guaranteed on so many token situations, like if the ravagers can’t get free kills at the few spots where it is possible they loose, or if the survivors can cheese those few spots they win.
Too much of this mode relies on just a few factors guaranteeing a success/loss and makes playing through it redundant when those conditions are met.
Feels like there are just 2 ways this mode can go, 2 ravagers can’t do anything because of being too slow and having no way to counter survivors, or the 1-2 token points in the map where the ravagers spawn at a good place ends up smashing the survivors to the point that they can’t recover, but it feels like there is nothing in between those two options

And maybe if the ravagers had more of a fair chance people could stop instantly giving up once they become ravagers and just go afk or quit because of what’s the point when your build can’t catch up with anyone and has no way to deal with anything but mines (and even then very poorly, I swear the Argus module on the ravager builds is nerfed because sometimes it feels like even 3 builds with it can’t even deal against a singular mine using build)

I specifically hate the Firestarter ravager with the sabbaths, that dumb build WILL NOT TURN, the others are okay, one even has small tracks, but that one is so annoying. I try to turn into something or avoid crashing it it just keeps going straight.

Me, going into red light with 2 doves
i dont like this for 2 reasons, you get spawned in RIDICULOUSLY far back while your enemies are like 10 miles ahead of you. seriously we have team mates that are way back and they dont spawn us anywhere near the enemies.
on top of this you seemingly get killed out of nowhere in some parts and are automatically kicked to the ravager team which is downright unfair. if your team mates go through a gate you have like… a few seconds to follow them or you automatically die and join the ravagers… like wtf?
not just that but holy crap is it cramped, i been killed by my team mates so damn much from ramming into me, ramming me into a wall, flipping me, etc. its just not a mode i care for. i only did it for the container for blueprint storage.
also also when you get to that branching path if you go to the left you just instantly die for absolutely no reason. your car overheats and you die. forcing you to go through the maze of car crushers and whatnot. why is this a thing? why put a branching path there if we cant use it? this is so unfair.
The heating function is a thing they added in the past, where if a build is lagging behind it starts to heat up and then dies off. So basically a faster build than yours took the shorter path and got so far ahead in the map that you started to heat up
I feel like they shortened the length of it compared to the past, feels like you start to heat up way too fast now
They added it because way back people used to stealth and lag behind, then chill at the beginning area and just wait out the timer to inconvenience people while the ravagers tried to find where the last survivor was hiding
This is also the reason minigun speed boosting builds kill off the whole team, they get too far ahead by themselves and the other builds can’t catch up, heat up and die

hmm… that might explain it but this is just bullcrap because it doesnt give your team a chance to catch up. i also been pushed into traps as well, flipped, ran into constantly, etc because of the small area of the map. everyones just up everyone elses ass trying to get away. this leads to everyone just getting one another killed.
also my build was one of the fastest builds i could make aggressor 100 km/h with a cheetah so i dont think id have any issues keeping up. it also had bigfoots on it. still its really stupid that they did that. it just gives ravagers a huge advantage.

what are minigun speed boosting builds? i never herd of those. is that just minigun builds on hovers?
people cheese the entire gamemode by going like 200 kmh using reaper hovers
ohh thats what that means. i forgot that reapers still give a hell of a kickback when firing on hovers lol.
