Ouroboros cabin

So how are you guys feeling about the cab? I find it to not be very good. At most you see yourself gaining in battles perk charge 2-4 but the only time when the perk actually has some noticeable effect is in the 7-10 tier.

Kind of a failed cabin honestly, even using any legendary light cabin gives you a +1 (2 if you’re some kind of a relic generator sexual) energy and that already means you can bring a more better reload module to a fight. Ouroboros + Flywheel is worse than any legendary light cabin + Cyclops, until you start getting near the 7 or 8 at the perk but realistically you aren’t going to. The charges just take too long to build up and the static perk is not that great. Light cab + discharge is better than Ouroboros and no reload module at all. In the time it takes to reach any noticeable tiers with the perk, you could have already done much more with a reload module and possibly some form of damage boost from some other cabin.

With a full perk of 10 (never achievable in actual pvp gameplay) some weapons do seem like they could do good, like Arguments become singleshot super spammers and Fukibari applying bolts upon bolts while the old ones have not yet even gone away, but you’ll never be able to use these guns to their full “ouroboros potential” because most times you will not climb past charge 3 no matter how hard you play

I give it a 6/10 in general mostly for a unique horn sound and having a somewhat new shape but the perk is ass and can’t compete with other options good enough

Haven’t looked at it, I can’t get past the name, “Ouroboros”. Don’t know how to pronounce it. There was a book with that title many years back, “The Worm Ouroboros” if I remember correctly. Couldn’t pronounce it then, so I never read it. Anyway…

I thought I had found some way for the cabin to work with a Darling + Cyclops build, but then I ditched the ouroboros cabin and tried a few other cabins that focused on damage boosting or explosion radius boosting and yeah the Darlings worked even better on that than on the ouroboros cab.

Once again, only at perk up to tier 8-10 it felt like it was borderlining on suddenly being good, but once again you just can’t reach that high perk tiers outside test range, not to mention how many ammo packs you have to stuff into your build to even hope of making any use of the perk at max charge your build won’t survive that far, because if you play safe you won’t gain charges and if you play aggressively you won’t survive long enough to gain charges

You just can’t gain charges. Same problem as in Beacon 11

Your breakdown is spot on — Ouroboros feels more like a novelty than a competitive cabin. The perk takes too long to stack, rarely reaches meaningful levels in PvP, and ends up outclassed by lighter legendary cabs with better energy and reload synergy. Unique design aside, it struggles to justify itself compared to more efficient options.

They get the names for items in game from the same people who name pharmaceuticals. Like you I would butcher the pronuciation . Our-burro’s gives a hillbilly twang to it.
