We all know balance changes will come eventually, got any parts you are betting on getting a nerf of some kind?
I’m imagining they’ll nerf Inferno and Kensei, they made the inferno overperform over most cabins and let it run wild for a while to milk money, it’ll come eventually. I am suspecting a little bit of rebalancing the kensei as well, while using this cabin I mostly just spam the damage protection rather than making any use of the increased movement speed and honestly it feels like a better cohort, even like I am cheating at some points when I can just cheese my gun survivability with omamori and kensei on a hover build.
I am suspecting that eventually they’ll get to toning down the torpedos as well
Haven’t though at the guns that much, most of the times it feels like they just spin a wheel to decide what to do with them. I know a ton of parts that would need a buff as well, but honestly they’ve been left that way for years while steadily complained about, I have no hopes of them ever doing anything based on playing this game for 8 years. Maybe they’ll buff the Dusk cabin in 2 years but honestly I don’t have big hopes this game is alive at that point, or it has reached some kind of a state that even I won’t want to touch it, be it extra low player numbers or some genius change like 6V6 that just kills the game for good as far as I am concerned
Inferno and Kensei definitely feel overtuned, and torpedoes could be next in line. Balance changes seem inevitable, though buffs for neglected parts like Dusk cabin may sadly remain a long shot.
They just buffed the Crickets. Now they are over tuned. On average they do 1500k damage per volley. On some shots it goes over 3000k. So, now we have an epic with low energy costs that does the same damage as 3 Compilers which are legendary. (To be fair they have low durability)

Im still mad about rotor speed cap >:( Homing missles are every where and having a flock only does so much… and people that use controllers with aim assist they should remove that >:)
It’s good people think that way, i just had another game ( a hover with crickets )
to be fair he was shooting my build not my drones or he was something else, somehow it was explosions everywhere but no splash damage to my drones
to be fair my build is made from scavs and steppens parts
well, they have range.
But every time we met i handed his ass back to him
A heli with crickets needs 3 volleys to get rid of me.
Now Pyres… they hurt a lot more, or the legendary ones, a heli can break in half my build in one go, the legendary hits one at a time, they are somewhat more manageble
I hate trombones because of Pyres…i never know what’s coming until contact, so… thanks ratio people that provide big numbers to the cricket people, as long they are happy and don’t use Pyres i’m happy too.

There wouldn’t be any nerfs soon.
You see, there always was a “meta hamster” minority as we call them. Their main talking point is “don’t nerf my outperforming item!!! buff the other items!!!”. Basically “please let me continue using the OP items because i want to play with my left foot and still be MVP”.
The devs started to listen so we get buffs for items that weren’t problematic in the first place, instead of finally nerfing the “20 item mafia”

tbh the kensei cabin seems useless to me,like click a button to go fast “big advantage”.but I get it why some people like it for melee builds.

People that say “kensei weak plz buff” didn’t see how it completely nullifies a situation when you have a single hover left and you can’t kite anymore, or heli builds that can literally parry lmao
It’s balanced, once again, you shouldn’t say that “a part is weak” judging by “20 part mafia” which dictates the meta
