People who fuse

dont forget fusing apollo. then again id wait for an event for that to guarantee the upgrades. 1/3 chance for reduced mass isnt worth the gamble.

I honestly feel the Apollo fusion is overrated. There’s tons of epic stuff to fuse first that won’t make a f2p player go bankrupt and will buff his endgame builds just as much, if not more. For the price of a Apollo fusion, one can fuse Seal, Shiver/ammo box/Doppler, Cloak, his epic cab, and a pair of movement parts.

This ^^^ for the most part.

I do think power fuse on engines is worth it.

I just got a fuzed cheeta with mass reduction and plus speed so my turret rides are super happy. Now I just hope the co-driver rework dosent put them all overweight as I only use my maxed out master jack driver

Power is prob worth it on Colossus, Speed on Cheetah. The odds of getting the good perk is so low and the effect so microscopic tho… Like, we’re talking 1.5 kmh max speed.
I got speed on Cheetah, that was nice I guess. Got a power fused Hot Red, never noticed the difference…

Power is something you have to go all in on when fusing.

I would agree that a single power fused engine is not going to make a huge difference.

But you got to see the bigger picture.

Power fuse cab + power fused engine + All of your movement parts power fused = a HUGE difference. One of those piece alone you will not feel, once you get half done you start feeling it and once you have them all done it’s ā€œholy cowā€.

Even if it is something as low as 1% on each part it ads up.

Most players will never have the coins to be able to experience it. And the effect are greater on higher PS builds, due to the fact that most higher end builds use more movement parts.

i keep forgetting what power does, doesnt it let you pull more weight or get to your max speed faster?
i been playing for years and keep getting the term mixed up lol.

Power = acceleration. It’s how quickly you can get from zero to your top speed. Power is such an important aspect of this game when every moment matters. Being able to adjust speeds quickly is often far more important than having a higher top speed.

ahh, i have my blight fused for power and i get to my top speed in less then a second on hovers. i have to fuse my other hovers but i can just imagine how fast ill get to my top speed when their fused for power… yeeeesh

The two main factors I use are affordability and usage. I have a number of rarest and specials upgraded I tend to wait for events and promotions. I don’t fuse stuff that I don’t use often though. Early on the things that I was more likely to upgrade were things that are used across multiple builds especially if they had better odds in their upgrade rolls.

Radar and detector are two that have good odds. Ammo boxes were next, wheels, Some Cabs after that… I did some weapons between each of these when I could do promos or events again though it was only stuff I used for dailies. Based on what I get for free from crates sometimes I’ll do a random roll for fun but it depends still on if it’s something I’ll use often.

I’m not one of those players that needs to have everything though so when I make experimental builds I often just sell the parts off that I craft. If you want to keep your coin vault topped up you have to figure out a good way that works for you to balance it out. Most of the upgrades only offer you a slight advantage anyway.

Alright, Monkey, they have a Power-Fusion coming up in 16 days for the Dusk with a 20% power bonus, so I put in the order on the market for two so I can fuse them on the Raven’s bench. I just finished fusing a set of wheels for power, now I’m going for the cab. Next is the Engine?
It hurts to loose the coin (forever), and because of that I hate the fusion ā€œfeature,ā€ but it is what it is, so I’m in…all in.

Depending on the engine this might not do a lot but every little bit adds up.

Power is even a bigger deal on heavier power drain parts.

For example Bigrams and colossus engine make a BIG difference.

I do have a full set of power fused hermits and they are super fast.
