Planned changes to clans and weekly challenges

i dont see how scrap could crash the market tbh. you need so much of it to craft anything that i dont think it would make a difference. copper is low enough in price as is to. i could see it dropping maybe 1 coin at the most but its the second most common resource in the game apart from scrap.

i find myself not doing raids simply because of the garbage raid schedule. seriously it changes every 20 minutes which is really irritating to me and they took out the second option for the easy raid. now it takes even longer to get steel cradle and i can only do 2 before it switches instead of the straight up 6 within the hour.

i am a solo player as well sadly. but i prefer it. i dont like the hassle of clan stuff or clan battles. its far to competitive for me so i just earn my coins the slow way.

you have no idea how many people see my porcs or my mastodon and send me invites lol. i just ignore them but sometimes i get a few invites per day xD

they could make an alternate mode where the weapon upgrades are disabled so its a much fairer fight. that or have 2 separate modes. one that allows fused weapons and one thats just unfused.

ive seen this before i believe. like a borrowing system. its tied to you but you can leave it in the warehouse so other people can borrow it. once they are done with it or the time limits up it goes back to the warehouse. it could help people to see if they like a certain weapons playstyle and help them practice for when they get one. but idk if something like that would ever get introduced.

this is exactly what i was wondering to. if its possible to get ore from this then i might consider being a freelancer for hire in some clans in the hopes i can get some uranium to sell. OR maybe if a clan doesnt have enough members they can offer a payment to a freelancer or a 4th person to go into battle with them like scrap, wires, batteries, electrionics or maybe some uranium. if they win then they can also win uranium depending on the rank they play at. a recruitment system for that would benefit some players who play solo.

i agree with this as well. people in the lower tiers SHOULD be able to get at least a little bit of uranium to help them and as they go higher in the ranks they can get more and more. scrap… yeah ok more scraps always nice but it should have uranium in the lower brackets. rust and tin should have like 10 uranium max. (what are the ranks again? its been so long since i played clanwars that i forgot the ranks)

this is sadly true. they are being more and more focused on pvp and its really turning me away. the only pve thing we have otherwise is patrol vs ai and raids… and maybe adventure but they killed that mode kinda. still fun to drive around in it from time to time though. i do the 20 challenges for the badges to when im bored and want some extra bling. i wish theyd do more with it though. though the one pvp game i thought was very fun was the dronepocalypse and i never played another pvp mode as much as i have that one. seriously i maxed out my weekly scrap on that 3 - 4 times the last time it was here lol. i got so much scrap from it

i just hope they will make the right choices in this because the game needs more modes and to get less pvp focused imo

You’re right that it still wouldn’t be friendly for new players, but at least it would be accessible for intermediate players.
I would still have to fuse some things for really competitive builds, but it would be fairly feasible. If if the resource rewards were good enough, it might even get people like me back on the path to doing real CW again, which would be very good for that mode.

Well, we’re peas in a pod, then. I do enjoy PVP, but only when I have plenty of time to devote exclusively to the game. I work long hours & am a father & husband. Those times when I CHOOSE to dedicate time to JUST ME are somewhat rare.

But, I can tinker around building art builds, play raids, Adventure or other more arcade-style play much more often.

If those options keep getting thinner, I’ll naturally have less time to play this game. :man_shrugging: Sad, really… I’ve loved this game probably more than any other & I started gaming in the 70s, so… yeah…

Its time to remove 3 builds rotation from CW :+1:

CW doen’t need to be friendly to newer players. They should know the game and learn to play and against all weapon and build type first. No joke…I have met players use shotguns and play as sniper in raids and battles.

On the other hand, you can just invest 200 scrap metal and invite Doc Savage and Poony into your band to get free weekly challenges done, never playing a single game together. Sounds like a win-win for loners.

Thats a very good idea.

We stop play Levi since we just broke our normal CW rating.

And sadly there is also no Levi custom training so cant train to match normal CW quality.

When did that happen?

RoughMonkey, I went and checked if WT was still on steam and it is. I retracted that statement. Not sure if it was a temporary thing or not. My eldest grandson was involved with the deal. so… again retracted statement.

To each his own, but to me the current clan system is awful and sadly since they did not address Levi Wars these new changes are not going to help.

I can agree with that, Even though the clan I am in is virtually inactive and teaming up for raids is even a rarity. My next question. Will being in a non active clan be beneficial or ?

It don’t look like it, we will have to wait and see.

We might get PvE clans out of this.

That would be weird. LOL

Yeah, but if people can do challenges as a clan then you might get guys, that have no interest in CWs, group up to make the grind easier.

You wouldn’t even need to be in voice or anything.

Also, they will have “Open” clans, so someone could set up some noob clans that people could come and go as they please just to group challenges.

Hmm. Ok so unless the builds are pre-made by the debs… how does this help unestablished players from getting seal clubbed in 4v4??

Established players can still use all their fused parts and form bands.

Agreed. They will have to add ore reward of some type. Then everyone with fused stuff will own the new “band” bracket.

Anyone wanna join my clan so I can sponge off them?

Was there any additional info about that mode?
