Pov you are playing Lucifers

I dream of days these could actually deal some damage instead of launching close to 60 rockets (multiple perk activation) and still managing to not pop a single module, movement part or gun or cripple the enemy in any way

dude it has like ~4k burst damage and you complaining about that? Wild

I wish the guns acted like that as well rather than never really accomplishing anything. Two shots from a retcher do way more than the Lucifers can accomplish even if the perk activates twice and you hit all rockets

You get 1320 alpha damage (aka damage on a single part) over ~2.5 seconds which is pretty good, that’s with no damage boosts and assuming you only focus the cab. You easilly can make a CC build that will deal ~4k damage in that burst.

I seriously don’t know how you manage to

They’re so good right now that even a single luci is just playable enough. Two is straight up death to anything but literally a few builds that probably could take you 1v1

I got obliterated by a dual-luci build a earlier today. Was not nice :sob:

I was just playing an older Lucifer/Manitou build today, and definitely wasn’t disappointed by the damage.
They are capable of some very big numbers, and can obliterate a lot of builds in one volley.

Easily, this is one volley of damage with a Manitou perk activated

And this is the state the enemy build is left into in a realistic scenario (you manage to start hitting them from the back and move onto the side as you strafe around the enemy and activate the perk about 2 times and deal a total of 3k white damage forgot what the yellow said)

All structural parts are gone, nothing is popped and the reload length means you are now degunned or dead

And as a reference point as to how much total damage needed straight from behind to destroy this build, which is all in all not put together as well as the usual sweat you run into, so basically all enemies you face feel about 50% more resistant to any damage than this build

leading to the Lucifers feeling like they mostly just tickle the enemy at most times. The numbers might seem big but that’s a general explosive weapons problem, where you get huge numbers but still seem to never do any real damage to the enemy

This is how much damage needed to be dealt to degun the build (full on 2 seconds at a face huggign distance) and these Lucis are on an Averter even. Yet at the same time, most more popular guns you run into, strip them in way less time than Lucis can strip themselves (Actual combat you aren’t going to be in optimal striking range or hitting all rockets 100% of the time)

Here’s your problem, a very trashy cab, slap Inferno or Satori and this thing will wreck anything
Also, i really hope that you put Omni just for demonstration, as they are literally the most efficient way to tell everyone “i don’t know how the meta in this game works”, if you actually use them in battle then that’s another problem

my second one isn’t even fuzed lmao

yeah this is one of my fav guns now lol. dunno how its supposed to be weak

I don’t know why people hated it, it’s always been strong for me.
And I usually run them on Manitou, which everyone else seems to hate.

Most of the time my victim dies before I empty the clip, so I can keep activating the cabin perk.

try going to 12-14k (anything between 10-20k with current mm) ps

  1. i shouldn’t in the first place, it’s the “a kaiju pointing downwards isn’t OP therefore it should be buffed” all over again

  2. yeah they’re pretty good at that PS range, just throw satori + fin whale + any invis and that thing wrecks any hover reliably.

  3. i don’t go random 8x8 battles because they have reached critical sheepie amount. literally unplayable when you’re left 2v7 in the first minute of the battle
