Question for wedge builds

Why do you insist on using a braindead easy strategy that ruins the fun of anyone using wheels?also,to the people who purposefully keep their ps low so they can use high tier guns against noobs, you shouldnt exist

This is referred to as “Sealclubbing”, I’m fairly certain, and is solved by playing patrols.

You are lucky that wedges aren’t as effective as they used to be. At least now it’s harder to carry victims around like hood ornaments.
I would like to point out though that most wedges are wheeled builds too. For better or worse, the only advantage wheels have is speed, which makes them ideal for close range attacks. So it has to be assumed that a lot of wheeled players are going to treat the game more like a wrestling match than a gun fight.
On the bright side, the best way to avoid being wedged is to keep moving fast, which is something that wheels are best at.

If you get really frustrated by wedges, consider playing some meat grinder builds for a bit.

As far as seal clubbing goes, PS management is a big part of the game. The first couple years that I played, I often inflated my PS too much for the weapons I was using. Finding the sweet spot where your weapons are effective and you can also carry enough armour and modules should be one of the main things you are thinking about when building.
Try bringing some of your higher tier weapons into as low PS as you can. You’ll quickly see how much you need to compromise to achieve that, which can help you identify the weaknesses of other seal clubbers. Often those builds will be glass cannons: high damage, but very low durability. Sometimes aiming at the cabin is better than trying to degun.

If you ever are on PC, search up “Alactan” on the exhibition and look for my name as the author. Legendary weapon, epic cab and many epic modules, 3k hp, and if I remember right, 6k PS

Not the most effective, but it something that you might want to strive for in terms of PS management

I drive onto enemy wedges, let them shoot at my underarmor awhile, they suffer massive power drain, my allies kill them from under me.
I accidentally wedge an enemy, but my cabin gets a power boost from each drone deployed up to three. If I can keep my turrets alive, then I barely feel the power drain. Of course, if I continue to wedge them, I may block line of sight to the enemy for my Turrets. Also, if I keep them wedged, my allies might kill them while my turrets kill a different enemy. I will wedge meatgrinders, they cannot hurt me enough quickly enough.

The best movement perks in the entire game. The best mass/health ratios in the entire game by far. The best mass/tonnage ratios in the entire game.

Cmon now, ofc they deserve better mass/tonnage ratios than everything else. Theyre the only build camera steer hasnt ruined

What wheels need is full reverse speed and diagonal driving. 20-30 degree strafe used by steering all wheels in the same direction that can change strafe direction faster than anything else. Its the mobility that is most important. Giving them the best stats forced all these W+M1 builds to proliferate because thats the only gameplay option for wheels.
There would be far more playstyles that benefit from wheels along with all the new players who would be that much more competitive with their common, rare, and special wheels.

I could see diagonal steering as a special new wheel, but those of us that mainly play wheels want them to feel realistic.
If you want diagonal wheels, we have omniwheels and atoms already.
