I found out that fusing 6 chills together to get 2 fused chills costs about 200-250 coins in total. ONE unfused RN Seal costs 300 coins, for the same energy usage and same heat reduction as the 2 fused chills. So the perk for seals makes it better automatically, right?? Well, on an infinite budget, yes, seals are technically better. HOWEVER, fusing an RN Seal takes 3 unfused seals, 300ish coins each, that’s 900 coins just to fuse into ONE RN Seal. You can do the same amount without the perk for 200-250 coins using a bunch of Chills. SO if you you have a coin shortage, and need to save/ration your coins, but really want that heating reduction, you COULD sacrifice a bit of extra space/mass on a build for less coins and about the same heating reduction. Let me know if this is good advice down below.
Images for Proof of concept:
actually your wrong, 2 chills are better then 1 seal.
57 + 57 = 114
33 + 33 = 66
the seal has
114
62
so for chills if you have the space you can put 2 on your vehicle to get 4% more cooling for your shotguns. this might not seem like a whole lot but they make a difference.
Even better!! Now Chills have a reason to be fused!!
but a single chill is bigger, and two chills is even bigger and take 2 parts instead of 1, and also 2 chills are the weight of 4 seals. although they have almost double the hp at least

a single chill is the size of 2 seals on top of eachother. the seals are more efficient in terms of size but the chills have the advantage in terms of fusion. i guess its a downside to something so big is that you get more out of it at the cost of it being bigger. even though its not that much of a difference having 2 chills is 8% more efficient then 1 seal… if your running shotguns.
Fused radiators are overpowered as you now have found out. If only fused reload modules could be overpowered.

The drawback of the Chill is that it’s big. I know a fused Chill is better than a non-fused Seal but, I can hide a Seal in the frame. I like my vehicles small and compact so they don’t get caught on things and they manuver better.

Been Using Upgraded R2 Chill for while, Their Durability makes them as a perfect connector, lower PS when important too. The Seal on the other hand…Great for hiding and weight but now not relevant with the new Legendary no point in using the Seal…sure they’ll fix it soon

Two chills are half the PS of a seal as well, so theyre much better for CC imo. Ill often do a chill and a occulus for CC so i keep my DPS while getting a headsup on cloaked melee coming to end my round
