Rare cabin fusion discussion. Is it even worth thinking about?

Do you have two Volt cabins that do not take up storage space? Would you fuse them into one cabin that does take up storage space?
If you had two Fury cabins from the recent Event that do take up storage space, would you fuse them into one even though you will mostly never touch it? You would gain a storage space.
The Fury is selling for $71.00 minus tax or less. You could gain about $120.00 coins and gain two storage space too.
Something about a Fusion event makes you waste time thinking of things.

I have a few fused rare cabs; Growl, Wyvern and Trucker, and an unfused Volt, Bear, and Fury. I haven’t used any of them in a coupla years, except when helping build something for newer players. You won’t get much for salvaging Fury or Volt; just a rare stabilizer. Since they don’t take up storage space, I’d say hang onto them maybe for some future art build. (I used the trucker cab when I modeled a cesspool sucker truck a few years back.)

i fused my two volts and it says the fused version does not take up storage space.
this kind of surprised me because i thought it would. i think that because its an event cabin that its not going to take up storage space and they kept it that way.
i tried it as well with a non event cabin that was untradable (two bat cabins) and it took up a storage space so i think the volt is the exception.

I did fuse the Volts thanks to you. I fused my two Furies and gained a spot too.

Thanks to you, and your Topic, I fused my two Volts for one that does not take up storage space. I also fused my two furies for one that does take up storage space. I did not gain a storage space though. But my Fury fusion is sweet and now I will have to assemble a low PS vehicle and hope to run it on weekends.

your welcome.

huh… i have a single fury in my inventory and idk how i got it lol. im guessing its an event / gift cabin?

I crafted two crates in Rust and Dust that transferred to my regular inventory and when opened made one of five rare cabins of my choice, which I chose the Fury. The other 4 rare cabins can be crafted on the workbench, so I had no reason to choose them. So, both my Furies took up storage space.
The way I read Tutor’s post, one of his cabins took up storage space, most likely from Rust and Dust, and one did not, so he did not gain a storage space like I did.
Does your Fury take up storage space?

the one i have doesnt.
