Really dumb questions about a couple patches

Quick backstory for those that don’t know what patches are (you can ignore this if you already know):
Patches are received for completing tasks in battles, or there’s a few for the market as well. to see how many you have over your entire playtime, go to your profile (top right ish, left of the coin counter), and then click “Patches” with the little square thing on the left of it. There you will see all the patches, and there are categories on the left. You can also read the descriptions to see how to get them.

Now that you understand patches (kind of), we can talk about a weird thing I noticed:

I was looking at my sad number of “MVP” and “Unyielding” patches (not nearly enough :sob: ), and saw this between the two:

It gave me so many questions:

Since when did Devs play this game?
How would we know if they are a developer if they did ever play their game?
What does the patch look like when you get one?

If anyone has one of these, could you post a screenshot please? I really want to see what it looks like!! :open_mouth:

BUT WAIT!!! there’s more…

How the heck did I get one of these?? I have no idea how this happened. I don’t remember getting this at all. :sob:

I never knew about the “hater” patch. What you could do to find out what it looks like, is go through your entire friends list, identifying the veteran players, then look up their profile and see if they have that patch.

Or, you can do what I did. Do an internet search for “crossout hater patch”, find a video someone recorded of themselves killing a dev (like this one), then take a snapshot at the end of the video to see what the patch looks like.

And it looks like this:

I remember Faley, but he was CM (community manager?) at the time. Perhaps that’s how I got the assist dev patch. It’s been a while lol. Thank you for the help!!

keep your Gen Chat on, and you will see a Dev in the chat calling for players to Join a match, just type in what they are calling for/ ie 7 ect.

Hello, survivors!

The new update is out, and we hope you’ve had some time to play the game after it became available. Also, we added unique patches for helping a developer in combat or destroying them. So it’s time for you to try and get them.

That’s why we are starting the Hunt! In the next few days, our community manager, Faley016, will be the target of this hunt. For the destruction of his vehicle, you will receive a reward — 2 “Military reserve” containers. You’ll receive the same reward for defending a target in combat. They will be a nice addition to the reward received for the battle.
How can you participate in this event?

At the specified time, Faley016 writes a message in the general chat about the start of the event;
At this time, you need to trust your luck and get into the same battle with him;
If you get into the opposite team, then during the battle you need to destroy his car, and for that you will receive the promised reward, 2 “Military reserve” containers.
If you are in the same team and the target vehicle is left in one piece at the end of the battle, you will also receive 2 “Military reserve” containers.

When will this event take place?
