Before the event starts players would gain access to an empty event garage and receive a crate with the necessary building parts. Players would be limited to the parts in the crate. The event would also be PS limited to a range. Within the crates are all temp parts for use in the event keeping it the same for all players. The crate would contain a range of parts that could be limited to a single faction or a mix of parts between multiple factions…
Rewards outside of standard resources would be extra temp parts for the event and tokens to cash in for more permanent types of rewards.
Outside of cloning the garage code and altering it to use a temp inventory, I think most of the code for this should already be stuff they have available within the game. The Devs would just have to cobble it together and make a creative narrative for it. It might be a way to allow newer players that can’t find matches in their lower ps ranges a way to get a foothold in the game.

what the developers really need to do is make this game less of a grind, scrap the resource boost subscription and make it standard for all players and actually generate coins through a simple mission called get the coins, players can win a ertain amount per day and that’ll bring a lot of new players in

That’s kind of out of the scope of what this is trying to help. I’ve seen a few newer people that say that they can’t get normal missions once out of the kiddy pool without really long wait times. This could probably fit some coin rewards and potentially a better base resource type which could help a little with the grind. In a craft and build game we shouldn’t be relying completely on premade vehicle events while being fair to each player.
Don’t take this as I don’t agree with what your saying though outside of this idea. Grind has always been an issue and there has been way too much focus on paid options. Just giving get the coin missions isn’t going to help the players I’m suggesting this for though. Same with lowering the grind to a lesser degree. They need to be able to get those matches first for that to help later.

I get what your saying and its not a bad idea at all, the only thing is it kind of defeats the object using your own personal weapons, equipment and so on…
But then if new players dont have any decent stuff and they got veteran players with better fused equipment I can see how your idea would help.
Btw is there any way of find out if the recent patch has done anything to crossout like buffing or cancerously nerfing anything?
For the new player it works out as an explorative build challenge while for the vet player it works as a restrictive build challenge. Where the only advantage the vet player has is experience in building and potentially knowledge of the parts involved. Which keeps the mode about as fair as it can get.
On the reward side that’s kind of where they can reduce a bit of the grind a bit. They can do that with alt-work pieces, resource crates, badges…
What you want to read through is the patch notes: News - Crossout - MMO action game normally someone will post them here too but we just copy them from the main site.

A nice idea but not practical.
most players stick with their op meta build and dont want to build new temporary cars with temporary parts.
