First of all i wasn’t interesting in high ps builds and when UW comes in i was so mad of the requirements to participate cuz i would love to let ppl in mid tier to earn uranium but despite all things when playing in high ps it’s a different game !! Do i suffer ? Yea sure i do but it’s worth it … it’s tactical, challenging and remarkable gameplay !!
So my point here is you guys (Dev) need to increase the rewards from the missions to match your ps league you’re playing in , this will push players to test high ps and make them want to play it for more rewards not only play 9k avg powerscore league for years …
This would make people bloat their PS and then they’d have super high PS parts that don’t complement each other like they should and then they’d die super quickly because they have the wrong parts. Some would add seals and shivers to a mammoth build just for the PS (as an example), and then that wasted energy would cost them the matches they play, or they’d use the wrong cabin for their guns, also costing them several matches.
Also: many players can’t up their PS due to the amount of IRL $$$$$ people need for relics, and sometimes even legendries. Epics are usually the only things players can actually afford a bunch of if they are free players (which don’t spend their IRL money), and epics usually are best around 9k (in general, there might be a few exceptions). In this case, they’d be missing out on resources, making the issues they have already significantly worse.
Crafting and market would also be affected, as the whales with money would get more resources than the newbies and free players, and then they’d craft more and get extra profit and extra money from their resources, and eventually that would further increase the gap in coin between these two groups, thus the whales raise the prices of everything out of reach of the free players and newbies, making the already sad players even more sad, and the player retention would get worse (if that’s even possible).
I’m not saying it’s a bad idea, I’m just saying we need to fix a few issues before this should be implemented.
Well for the first part , this game is all about trying and keep building until u find the perfect fit so i don’t see anything bad from this perspective when some one push the ps to 16k i’m sure he knows what he’s doing , also u can push your ps by adding so many wheels or decor not only relics so i think alot of ppl can push there builds to 16k ps but they didn’t know they can !!!
Second part about coins i think you right about it but for the whales they already have uranium so for scrap and wires i don’t think it will made a big difference also the mission time on high ps significantly longer than avg 9k ps so it’s fair if u spend time you get increased rewards too !!
this wouldnt be a good thing. if you get max rewards at 20k then people are just going to run 20k to max out rewards for the week and not return to the game. they actually decreased rewards in the past for pve and raids. im still pissed about this and some raids give far more resources then others, i think they need to balance the rewards out better. but making it solely dependent on your ps is just ridiculous.
this point exactly as well.
they already do this though. alot of battlepass items cost a ridiculous amount to cause of the devs not making the blueprints permanent. they did this on purpose to appease the whales.
not many people WANT to do this though. and theres many players who dont want to run all that junk on their builds. i dont like running builds with 20 wheels on it myself. plus not many people own good heavy cabins unless they bought a battlepass or two in the past. if your a newer player you wont have that. not to mention wheels are getting alot of flack to for being stupidly durable. having to many on your build pretty much ensures you wont lose mobility very quickly and thats part of why people hate the brick metas to. hell i could hit a bigfoot wheel with a dual typhoon shot and they would just laugh at me.
Tbf It would stop seal clubbing and probably encourage new players, but then I’ve always said they shouldn’t allow higher quality items at lower power scores anyway and I still say they should do this as a deterrent. So regardless of your actual PS if you run anything of say epic, you get put in 6k+ regardless, even if your build is 3k. It would also make balancing a hell of a lot easier. Like back when I started if this was a thing nobody would be complaining about 4k hover builds owning everything ect.
Great points of whales etc … But you are wrong with it , the whales you’re talking about are playing at 6k ps with fused builds and no one of the new players could keep up with them , so believe me this’s the best solution to make every buddy play at the highest ps they could afford not to go lower for ez new players with the same rewards lol !! No more off whales pullsh*t what you said here is to let lvl 400+ players to keep banging newplayers who are the true victim here , think before you write all of that nonsense again
yes they play at 6k ps and have alot of fused things, but theres alot of fused parts also being released in the battlepasses as well to give newer players a bit of an edge. sure its not much but its what they player makes of it. over time if a player focuses on getting epics they can fuse a few through events and eventually be on par with some of the other veteran players. also teamwork is important in a game like crossout. if you cant beat someone then team up and dont go alone.
its not. if you force this then people will just quit the game. forcing people to play at the highest powerscore they can is wrong and a dick move to pull on the entire community.
some people want faster games and play at 6k powerscore so they can get rewards quicker. if you, idk, played this game for ANY extensive time then youd know why this was a bad idea to make rewards based on powerscore. this wouldnt be fair to new players and also wouldnt be fair to veteran players.
think about it this way, if a new player at 2k powerscore were to buy a battlepass and got all those items he would then be forced to max out his build at lets say 9 or 10k powerscore with the items he gets from the pass, then what? he would have to compete at 9 - 10k with more experienced people. this would cause them to quit. if you dont see my point here then i got no hope for ya.
what your implying here is even worse yet your being to arrogant and egotistical to see my point. i wasnt even trying to be rude here however your response says alot about you.
being rude like that isnt going to get you anywhere.
Plus I personally really like the fact that playing 4000, 6000, 10000 or 16000 yields the same rewards. It allows creativity and to use all parts in my garage and not just the legendary ones.
Valid point but you’re wrong to think that increasing rewards at higher PS is the solution. You just introduce more pay to win into the game because everyone will need relics.
