This is one of the reasons your car will bounce (almost out of nowhere) when it is to low to the ground. That place your car jumps for no reason sometimes is where you leave the terrain map and move onto an asset like a bridge.
They use to use this technique in earlier 3d modeling where they would take 2 meshes and push one up through the other to make the ground layer have more textures then just the base one. I think that was mostly what caused that when just driving along the base terrain. The other is caused by not cleaning up the other object meshes and you can end up with an odd spike sticking up.
More bigger Maps. That’s all I really ever wanted from this game as far as updates go. I was content with the game prior to Supercharged 2.0
I would have been happy if they just made more maps at that point. I would have even been open to the idea of them selling expansions to the farm…actually I lobbied for that.
Expanding adventure mode would have been great too, but really all I ever wanted that wasn’t in the game already, prior to Supercharged, was more and bigger maps for PVP and raids.
'and here it is…i’m only getting 2 points now every couple of matches.
‘they really want ppl to pay’ they ghost nerf my upgraded maces as well as everyone else,i play the same, the outcome the same, but my points… 'not the same…thx
thats brilliant
agree totally.
I think this is the new direction the game is going. everything in it will be aimed at pay to play/pay to win.
The more I think about all the updates there have been since i started, the more I realize they’re all designed to make you pay to compete.
This game is only going to get worse.
I think it’s going to flux as they go back and fix stuff.
That has been the norm ever since I started playing some 6 years ago. This one sucks pretty bad, maybe the worst…maybe, but it’s not their first dumpster fire for sure.
I really hope they have some brilliant idea about how to fix this situation, and a plan to get it done.
I think it’s a bit harsh the way it is.
If they want to fix this in the middle of the night and not announce anything, I’d be fine with it. Whatever they do, I wish they do it sooner than later.
I was disappointed when I read the last update announcement and saw no mention of this clan war issue. I’ll have to read it again to be sure they even addressed the bugs in the current model. I don’t remember.
I think this is the result of poor testing date spans and times for the most part. They did extend the time for this change but I still couldn’t get on in the week and it was for a major change.
I think it will get fixed as not doing so would be more detrimental to them then anything else. No amount of packs or bps is going to make up for the lamentations over some parts of the PVE and SOLO player issues.
I’m sure they plan is to give solo guys a few weeklies and call it a successful PR recovery campaign. While everyone that uses the new system will get more rewards and move even farther away from the free non-clan/band player.
No mater their “Fix” the new system will yield higher rewards to give people an incentive to change to the new mode.
(Pre-patch Population is already back so they are not worried about that)
That’s kind of what I’m expecting out of a fix. I really am only missing hard raid rewards, base scrap metal, and the completion of dailies requirement.
edit: and the awakening zone ones.
Sounds logical to me, and that’s more or less the path my hope is traveling down.
As long as I can still get that amount of badges most of the rest of the changes is fairly negatable. Some of the modes I never completed even when putting in a little effort but I know which ones I could complete and am now lacking.
The new mode isn’t all bad either. I kinda like it, but I need better access to enjoy it, and I don’t want it to be a major focus of my game play. I’d like to be able to waste my time with other aspects, and not be all caught up in the META…not that I don’t like my little META wedge it inspired me to create. I don’t mind tinkering with the META, and I think I might actually enjoy having a little META monster in my hanger, but that’s not what I came here to do. I’m here for the fancy legos, not the fancy guns.
I was suggesting maybe a 4x4 slaughter pvp patrol type of version that could run at the opposite times as confrontation for something like a get use to the mode type of thing. Less rewards but still could be fun.
I like the idea. They could offer up a rare or unusual resource for that mode that would make it more desirable, like plastic, wires…gas? They could bring back coupons and give them some new desirable function, like crafting decor and paint (I love that stuff), or even structure parts (love those too).
Anything over scrap would work I think. The idea is just to give players a softer target zone to practice in.
