I’m starting this thread because this game SORELY needs some codrivers (must be an unpopular job if there are so few of them at present :yum:). i’ll copy the ones i made on my other thread here and post any new 1 i come up with here.

the goal is to make a thread with as many different “codriver templates” (leave numbers crunching to the devs) that can be added as a viable addition to the game.
so post any idea here and let’s see how many we can make (no OP/META CRAP PLS!!! :slight_smile: )

ps. some codrivers i post don’t have a “short backstory”…anyone how wants to contribute a backstory for them, feel free to post it here… :grin:

Oilslick
a former racer, he joined and later left the lunatics gang. some say he got fed up with billie (reason unknown, as he doesn’t talk about it, but some speculate it was the former’s obsession with blowing up…) and left the gang to become a merc.

spec skill:
Turbo Injectors - gathers a set amount of charges while driving/drifting and then, when activated, increases the car speed for a time.

pasive skills:
Shoot as you drive - increases rate of fire (may be proportional to speed)
Tight turner - increases turning speed of weapons (may be proportional to speed)
Race ace - increases wheel grip

Gimmi K.
spec skill Cowboy - after X successfull shots (can be activated or smt.), reduce reload time of mounted weapons for a time or smt.
skill Trigger Hippy - increased weapon rate of fire
skill Bolts ‘n’ Screws - slight increase in the durability of armored car Structural parts (NoT the Cabin, Weapons, Moving parts, and Modules!)
skill Break a Leg - increases max speed for legs by 5km

Ice Flow
spec skill Snowborn - activates after a set amount of elemental damage (fire, ice, THUNDER!!! :rofl:). increase the “time to overheat stat” of all weapons for a set time (or smt)
skill Frozen Stiff - reduce enemy push speed or push effect against this armored vehicle
skill Crampoons - reduced slow effect from enemy ice based attacks
skill Cold as Ice - increased effects of “cold based debuffs”

Ro N. Tghen
spec skill El. Storm - disable enemy radars / locators / and other such items, for a certain (very short!) time and within a certain radius. can be activated after a certain ammount of damage to enemy Cabins, parts that require energy to function, and any type of Movement parts, as well as also disabling invisibility modules in same radius
skill Juiced Up - increase max speed of hovers by 5km
skill Shortcircuit - increase (Energy / Uncategorised) damage to Modules and Engines
skill Energy Distribution - reduce “charge up time” for energy and uncategorised weapons

Mark S. Mann
spec skill Bullseye - activates after X successfull shots at enemy cabin. gives a damage bonus against all non-structural parts for a time
skill Hawk Sight - increase max range of all weapons (bonus may vary depending on weapon type)
skill Paint Target - increase homming rockets speed (or active time, or tracking accuracy, or smt… )
skill Commando - reduced aquisition / spotting range, for enemy armored vehicles targeting this vehicle

Peta Arda
spec skill It’s ALL in the mixing - for a short time adds a small ammount of explosive damage to “bullet type” damage
skill The Bigger the Better - increase AoE of weapons with an Aoe
skill Flame of Glory - self destruct damage increase
skill We have Explosives - returns a small portion of “ramming damage” recieved

Nin Jah
spec skill Shinoby - when activated highlights explosive modules of nearby enemies to all nearby friendlies (radar range) for a short time Nin Jah gets smt like a 10% dam increase, while the other friendlies get 5% dam increase (like falcon, just lower dam) that lasts for 4 sec (shorter that Falcon) (it is assumed she learned from Falcon at some point)
skill Caltrops - increased damage against movement parts
skill Weak point - increases penetration of weapons, or gives a small penetration bonus to weapons that have none
skill Discipline of steel - a very small reduction to the damage recieved by armored vehicle

Practy GLUE Kuss (“I’ll keep it in one piece e’n ifa’ hav’ta GLueITtoGETh’r!”)
Sister of GIMMI K., became known as a more of a “hands on it…in the middle of the operation” kinda person, but her expertise of “keeping things together” quickly made a name for her in the wasteland and amogn various wastelanders both good and bad…

Spec skill - Miracle Glue - for a time after activation, every part (both Structural and Non) of the vehicle has a slight chance to “survive on 1HP” if dealth enough damage to destroy it. this skill does Not affect parts already On 1HP when activated.

skill - Make It Tight - every some secounds (15-20, i dunno, also works Only With Wheels) GLUE can shoot a Skinner Shot, But only at terrain and it’s only used to achieve a tight turn (momentum andall :smiling_imp:)

skill - Some DuctTape here… - slight increase in HP for “Non-Structural” parts like Cabins, Movement parts, Weapons, and Modules.

skill - Like Glue - after target aquisition, slight increase it time Before Aquisition is Lost

Crossbow guy. Looks like some wasteland guy read a book about Robin Hood and decided to start roleplaying

talent: Second shot
After every successful hit with a crossbow, after reloading the next shot does +X% damage (10 or 5 or even 15% I have no idea how to balance) stacks only 1 time. So basically every other shot does extra damage when using crossbows. Only works after reloading so on Toadfish you won’t constantly get a damage boost to the second shot in the volley of 2, also damage boost can’t be too good because Varuns rate of fire exists

Passive skills:
Short Fused - weapons that explode after a set time (Nest, Phoenix, Vulture, Acari) explode slightly faster, 5% faster or something. Also applies to rate of damage before the explosion (Vulture, Acari) so instead of missing out on the pre-explosion damage, it just does it faster
Arrowman - crossbow projectile speed +10%
Deep quiver - Ammo pack efficiency +something%

edit: Was supposed to be “decreases spread of weapons while firing continuously”…similar to falcon, only when firing and not driving
