Small update, March 20, 2026

I don’t think repairing is actually any cheaper than crafting, is it?

Regardless, it is still easy to grind out a strong epic build very quickly. Why would anyone spend $200 to skip an hour’s worth of playing?

I feel like you maybe haven’t actually played the mode enough to get how it works?

i tried it and i know how it works.
you get into a match with a bunch of 8k+ ps losers while your in your 1.7k starter car, get your arse handed to you because epic weapons are far superior, get frustrated and leave. i am always put on the losing team match after match and maybe 1 in 10 matches i get a fairly even match and maybe 1 in 15 matches ill actually win one just to go back to that losing streak.
hence the reason i quit doing pvp, cause the matchmaking is god awful. either you wipe the team or the team wipes you and rarely if ever is there an in-between where it can result in a draw or a 1v1 in the end.

idk why dont you tell me mister “its still easy to grind out a strong epic build”. go ahead and tell us how much it costs in comparison to building it. btw they raised the prices on some of these epics to build to.

I’m playing it because I’m finding it fun. It’s a different feel and vibe than normal Crossout.
I suspect that many of the people complaining here haven’t actually played the mode much.

If you haven’t noticed I haven’t said much about it or complained. I do hope everyone is having fun just wished they’d do more for the main game. I even thought about if they were using it as live beta testing that you can pay for though I didn’t say as much previously.

Honestly if it doesn’t effect my main much it doesn’t matter too much to me.

I’m just finding it all fairly funny.

lmaoooo
The epic parts in these blueprints are one-time use (and the blueprints themselves are bad, like seriously? 4 wheels? lol)
I remember getting to an echo + 2 fatmans + GE + gasgen + 2 tracks in less than a hour from scratch, considering that i’ve spent half of that just building vehicles, it’s not that deep bro

me when i spread misinformation on the internet

The Jury still out .

If you progress incrementally you are bound to lose the parts eventually and you may have to sink a lot of resources 'to keep it going until you have to use anything else, 100% blue.
( this also could be affecting how people do their games, to be able to minimized the repairs cost in the end)
Even if you use a blue version of that same build you are bound to take some beaten from time to time, at the end you will have more resources , fun in a budget.

I see some tackers but i don’t see any protectors, why?

The starter build was just to jump start the thing, we are not supposed to keep using it

I’m doing ok with spitfires

It’s also bad, if at the end you get 1 vs 1, that means the game was balanced, most probably either build are in a sorry state, cabs burning, missing half of movement parts… it’s a coin toss.
Funny story, in one game where we had the upper hand, we lost it, in the end was between two guys with no weapons, missing half of their wheels trying to push the other guy into the acid lake…let’s just say i got older just for watching that

Listen, just go with the flow, this mode isn’t the shark feeding frenzy i’m use to…and miss…more important than map awareness is team mate awareness, if you lose you lose, if you win you win.

You know? This mode lacks the point system ( which works like a charm, extremely well, let me tell you ), we should had been given orbs and no caps.
Yes there’s long range play but it almost always ends in a brawl ( you need the orbs for points, to not only win but to end well on the scoreboard ) you are in a competition with 11 players, half of them will try to take you down.
Plenty of incentives.
VS
That same lame BS where the two teams go cap the other base in simultaneous, than some of them will try to delay the progress, win or defeat it’s a waste of time with no action whatsoever in some of them.
In matches like that i wish the game disconnected ( network error ) …but no, that my friend, almost always happens when i’m in a raid, i don’t get the resources and lose my fuel.

ok genius, tell me where you see the part “Frontier” cabin in the tales mode. ill wait.

oh wait thats right cause its not in there. the cabin is special which is NOT in the tales mode and i am not buying it to find out. also the hulk cannon is not available in the tales mode either. so why dont you buy the pack and tell me if you get it. we can all wait.

xd xd

how though? they dont have the special tree in the mode? …do they? or is it hidden behind the pack?

by your logic the volt cab also doesn’t exist since it doesn’t show in the tree

in fact, so does hadron for some reason

Isn’t it the one I circled?

He was talking about the R&D mode tree probably

Ah got it.

yeah the R&D mode is what i was referring to.

the volt cabin was a promotional / event cabin though wasnt it? i remember it came in a free pack they gave out so maybe they just forgot to add it in? or maybe they didnt add it because its not normally aquireable in game?

this dude uses tank tracks (which have bouncy physics and are easy to wedge, unlike the armored/goliaths)
you’re also playing arcade which gives a power boost to wheeled builds which also affects wedging/pushing, that’s why @Babuskae

Classic missions were like that, then they did something to it, it’s like driving in thick soup.
Arcade, yesterday i did some classic missions it felt very arcady plus i found whopping PS difference in some of them
WTF?

Yesterday was also pretty brawly ( classic missions )… was fun.
But 16k, 14 k …ouch!!!

Goliaths, it depends the type of build, some are pretty doable

Happens to me all the time with my 9k flyer >:(
