Who are you? I thought he was talking about “Disco”… Doesn’t anyone remember Disco? Didn’t Disco have another name before that? She would fight with everyone.
Ya, I didn’t mention any names but mine, which I thought was self-deprecating enough to allow me to poke fun at everybody else. I don’t think I left anybody out, and probably we have all played many of these rolls at one time or another. There’s nothing in my script that is meaner than what has actually been said here, not by a long shot. That’s probably as flattering a depiction of the common troll as any I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t find a nicer way to put it, frankly, and if there is a real butt of the joke it was me. I ridiculed myself harder than anybody else, so I feel like I left plenty of room for everybody else to take the joke.
If my depiction of the friendly neighborhood troll burned anybody (I don’t really think it should), then what has actually been said ought to, in retrospect, feel embarrassing, because it’s been so much worse than anything that came off of that elevator, for sure.
in your comic, I’m the hulk character.
For sure man.
On a side note: I always enjoy your art.
As an artist that sold his soul for corperate art it is nice to see people still have time to do things just for fun
That’s funny
Once you realize the demons are pretending to be angles and satan is in a God costume it cracked me up.
I read the captions at first and was like… hmmm
Then I took in the whole thing
That’s the last of them.
I mentioned it earlier but this is the quintessential form of a Fever Dream. I had caught covid and it was pretty bad, so, as I laid around babbling and laughing at the walls, this all just started taking form. I really don’t like being unproductive and, even in my worst times, I try to capture what’s going on in my head. Among it all, I do my best to have some sort of Aesop’s Fables type of moral to it all. Anyhow, I do hope I haven’t offended anyone too greatly with my “fictional honesty” as I like to put it.
I often think about going back and redoing it all, and I mean it ALL, complete with inserting the Ravaging and the Lost Wolves. I just don’t know if that’s worth it in the long run. I already published this one you guys read in an unofficial walk-through on Amazon Books, and it didn’t move at all. I had 1 sale from Rotfish Bandit. I’d love to have a real reason to reboot it. Beyond just entertaining myself and others, I gotta be real, a financial reason would be the best but it doesn’t look like this company is interested in partnering with me on any level.
I can always take the other route where I revise it all and set it into my own universe, and that’s years (at least 2) of work just for a rough draft to send to the editor. Then, there’s the editors price…$$$…
Maybe someday in the future, after BADDEC is secure as a fully running business, I can focus some financial means and employed effort into it. BADDEC Presents Mad Max: Beyond Founders Canyon…imagine that, would ya?! LMAO
This is why I sold my soul to corperate art.
I may not 100% enjoy the art I make, but it pays the bills (and then some)
I would love to say I’m skilled enough to make original stuff for a job like that but, truth is, all i can do is mix and match images/media, blurring the lines. I can paint on canvas with relative ease, some stuff even turns out kinda good but that’s rare. I got a canvas of Lady Death I been working on for about 2 years now…just can’t seem to finish it properly. Not yet at least. LoL.
can i ask what you’re using to set this up? back grounds, characters, what’s it all from?
Fallout: New Vegas.
Some of it’s a mod. I’ve worked over a little bit of Goodsprings. I’ve got a radio station, an old truck that actually drives (XRE:Cars mod, plus some original textures), a sheriffs department and jail, with a secret lair in the basement filled with zombies, a hideout with a deer-stand for shooting rad-scorpions, an old trailer for a home-base, a few new outfits, some re-skinned guns, etc.
Never played or, really, seen anything from Fallout. Looks rustic. Lookin forward to more if you got’em. If not, don’t rush it, let it come naturally.
