I always bring a doppler to every match.
And when i croak early its painful to watch all the other radarless guys on my team fumble about, not knowing where the enemy is.
So whats the reason almost nobody uses radars?.
Is everyone using esp hacks i dont know about?
Are the majority of players content with a game of drive around and find your enemy instead of playing strategy by the minimap?
if im not running a doppler im running the purple radar… i forget its name… but often times i dont have room for one on my car. however when i run weapons that are not reliant on a ton of modules like reapers then i run a doppler. i try to hide it in my build as deep as i can or on the frame underneath since i run my car on bigfoots so i got alot of clearance. i see people running radars but often times the radars just go poof instantly. in most cases i run both a doppler and a radar.
as for why others dont… idk? i think they rely on others to have a doppler and a radio to better let their team know at all times? maybe they cant fit one on their build? im unsure.
In all seriousness only a couple of my builds don’t have one, it’s been like that since I started. Honestly, people are just braindead, look at the state of the builds these days. How did sticking guns on your roof completely unprotected become meta? It’s baffling!
Alotta folks also neglect to add a radio if they’re running the energy-free radars (Keen and the other two whose names elude me at present). Without the radio, only YOU know what your radar sees.
Doppler and Maxwell have a built-in radio, and automatically send the info to your teammates’ radios.
wasting parts on a radio or a radar only gives you a disadvantage in a 1v1, and if your team is competent enough to watch the minimap while you have radar, then you dont need radar
you dont need a doppler in a 1v1, and it doesnt help your team either if youre playing matchmaking. radio is even more of a waste of a part, it has 0 hp or function
matchmaking teammates are never going to look at the minimap, its pointless to carry a radar. and if there is a semblance of teamplay (which there isnt) then you dont need a radar because everyone sees each other
a full radar is a waste of energy which causes you to lose in a 1v1 which you will inevitably have because there is no team play in matchmaking whether you carry a radar or not
I’ve won more 1v1 by knowing where the enemy is at all times than by shear firepower. It’s called using cover and your a dumb fuck if you can’t understand that.
its not hard to see where a guy is in a 1v1, you literally have to keep track of a single guy.
if youre gonna carry a radar into a 1v1 an oculus is better for cloak and uses less energy but not if you dont have spare energy
