I think it’s pretty clear he hates RuSkIeLaG and xo_guy123, and flags them no matter what they say, so he’s shaped this profile as mad-flagger himself.

Buddy, I’ve been studying psychology and human behavior for 15 years, I’ve read countless books on this subject, it’s not my profession but I do it as a hobby because psychology has always been my interest. After much analysis and observation, I can tell you that monkey fits this picture as the biggest flagger on this forum.

So, when he swings back by, does anybody have an idea how to deal with it when he sees all the shit we’ve been talking about him?
I don’t. I mean is it just Fuck Monkey from here on out? Do we turn the tables and flag-harass him every time he posts something? I’m not really comfortable with that myself.
I would very much like to leave the judgment open on this and give him the benefit of a doubt…despite the abundant circumstantial evidence. I really don’t hate the guy, and even people that do like to poke me with sticks occasionally, I have no interest in maintaining any beefs with.
I think I resent him for creating this situation in the first place, and it’s not like he didn’t have any forewarning that people were sick of it. I pitched my own fit about it too, without naming names, and yet it went on.
This forum…easily as dysfunctional as my family.

I’m just responding to the posts that are accusing Monkey of malicious flagging. If you’re not one of the people pushing that theory, then my posts have nothing to do with you.
If you’re just mad that Monkey posts a lot, I’m pretty sure that me and you post almost as much as he does. So what?
I just see a bunch of people who have convinced themselves that it must be him flagging lots of posts, and I felt the urge to comment on the witch hunt. Why would that offend you?
If none of the moderators does anything than only solution is just ignore him and let him flag. Don’t like any of his posts period, don’t talk to him on anything, no nothing just pretend he is a ghost. He might have a little bit of power but that power will be weakened if you does that. People can still see the comments that been flagged so it ain’t all doom and gloom. Don’t feed his ego until he comes out with an apology and he’s got to come out and say it/acknowledge it and then you can open the door but if he don’t than just keep ghosting him, that is best solution.

What are you talking about? I don’t recall any firm opinions on the steam numbers. I might have said that PS4 seemed busier, but that’s true. I know nothing about steam charts or how they work, and have no opinion on that.

All I said in that thread was that I hope the increase was real, and that it seemed like PS4 queue times were shorter than before, and I made one off-hand comment that any popularity growth can spur more growth.
I made no big declarations, didn’t start any arguments, and you immediately started calling me names.
So yes, you have some weird opinions about me, and probably about other people too.

I’m also a paystation player and I can tell you that our playerbase is not growing, I’ve been analized all leaderboards from many events last few years and I can tell you theres much less playes playing xo events, also as a top cw player I can tell you that many of top cw players left this game, players who rly loved this game and has over 200 prestige lvl, they just quit. I assume at your level you play (low ps) you may think you see more players but let me tell you none of these players will ever reach the level of the players I’m talking about, and they will never come back to xo same as your newbe players will never be a top players.
I am calm, I couldn’t care less. I spent 5 months away from the forum and managed to break the cycle. I really think a lot of people around here can use a big long break as well. I wasn’t looking for no drama today trust me but all I seen was thread after thread about the flagging non sense and what not and it was hard to ignore. Only reason I’m back was to report the market bot, once hes gone i’m gone but i might still weigh in once in a while.
Why do you think I only play low PS?
For most of the last year, I was focussed on builds in the 15kPS range. Now I’m just doing 9kPS builds for confrontation, next month I’ll probably have a new obsession.
Anyways, I have no firm opinions on whether the playerbase is going up or down, and I don’t know why you are talking to me like I do.
I find queue times shorter than they used to be, but maybe that’s just the region I’m in, the times of the day I typically play, or maybe they just tweaked their matchmaker in some way to give me shorter queues with less players.
There are lots of possible explanations, and I’m not invested in any of them.
You guys can argue about steam charts or whatever, I don’t care, and I don’t understand why you’re acting like I do.
Edit: to bring things back to the actual thread, both you and Nobler are doing that thing where you project a bunch of opinions on a forum member who doesn’t actually have those opinions. Maybe we should be a little less quick to judge people?
I think making Poony4u mad is unflattering. I use it as a sign of things having gone too far. I’m done with this. I’m off to TV land, or maybe I’ll actually log on to my account and…stare at it and then log off probably. I’m going to go finish dinner and watch TV.
