Swinging passive melee weapon mounts

I was wondering if there could be an uncategorized weapon that swings/slaps at a vehicle, like pincers and swinging blades.

Maybe like a dynamic spring mechanism that can have things mounted on them such as passive melee weapons and melee weapons, with its own limited tonnage?

Might work they use chain flails to clear mine fields:

If you think of something heavy at the end of the chain it’s not far from that concept.
