Anyone else feel like they have Thanatos fatique? And even more specifically, in content created for the game. Ever since the release of the pay2maximumenergy cancer, almost all crossout content you come across is just “Look at this while not exactly meta, super fun build or a cool way to make not so great weapons work good enough to offer fun, but it needs the relic generator”
Most of these content creators would not even be making the content if they did not have access to the generator for free, and most of us just can’t own the generator ever.
While i do admit that the videos are great, and it’s actually fun to see stuff like this and the unique things people can come up with now with more energy and see some unpopular guns get to see some use again, I also get that sinking feeling of “Look at all this fun you will never get to have : )” because of needing the relic generator. The light relic generator was already a big enough slap to the face, but at least it did not completely lock out using a maximum number of guns you could not otherwise do. But now the Thatanos does.
Thatanos is just the insult that keeps insulting. While relics in general are, technically, reachable by anyone, it’s not realistic for most people out of varying reasons. And at the same time just further drains away any feelings of really wanting to play the game when at the end you will always be locked out from using the maximum amount of energy
