We all have a thing we hate about our favorite game.
Show us your Anger, what do you think about all the hover, piercer, bastion or melee builds?
Go ahead and rage here, but keep in mind it is directed towards the game and not other people.
We all have a thing we hate about our favorite game.
I think the biggest cancer is in general the same old meta builds being so good that it goes to people’s heads, and then you have the kind of players who run nothing but the same cheese build for years and act like they are better than anyone else because of their epic skills, that are so epic they refuse to play anything else but the cheapest press X to win build there is, you usually see these people running the stock shotgun builds or a cheesy hover, get upset if someone is in front fo their line of driving and ram into people, start complaining right away when they die, throw matches if they get teamed up with the same people from a previous match that was not a win and spend all match spamming whatever insults they can.
Usually they start complaining right away when they die no matter if it’s a win or not, or how well it is going, my epic meta build that always wins every match because of my super skills got destroyed I am so angery now how could this happen
So it’s a type of a player rather than a specific build or gun. I run into so many people so high off of their own farts and cheesing it to the point that even I would be embarrassed to play with a crutch as big as that and needing to resort to cheapness of that level when it comes to gameplay. Not even ha ha funny meme builds but straight up abusing very possible game mechanic and physic clan wars tire I never play alone and NEED the help of my clan buddies to even try playing-type of people
That is not nesessarily something cancerous. People can hate things that actually are pretty beneficial for the game.
If we’re talking about cancer it’s Gaijin. They suck all the money they can out of XO, leaving a minuscule amount for devs and servers to not die of starvation. Not people from Gaijin, mind you. Their politics, rather.
I wanted to say 95% PvP fillers, but it’s a consequence, not the problem itself.
All the stuff that prevents one from playing the game. And I don’t mean it like “slows bad”. There are ways to make CC interesting.
But Kapkans and Daze? Flash that nukes both your ability to flee, and your ability to defend? The old permastun Typhoon’s perk? How much handholding do you want in your games lmao? Imagine if kaps and daze were in LoL. “oh nobody gets to shoot for 9s because I have the p2w Daze, how fun is that?”
Source: someone who owns a p2w 9s Daze.
But who am I kidding, biggest XO cancer since ages is hovers, and how devs are hellbent on wanking their hovers fanbase and milking them to death throughout the successive updates.
The biggest cancer in game is the people.
No mater if you fix one thing we will break another thing.
You will always have something that is the “Most Poweful” builds no mater how many time you balance the game.
In this respect the game will never change.
Even as we speak the devs are testing a cannon patch that is going to skew the game towards cannons… this might make those guys happy for awhile but everyone else will suffer.
But this is how real war and Crossout works. It is the frustrating part and Great part of the game at the same time.
I think it bugs people that can not change fast enough more then others. For me I don’t care what’s good or not, I got most of it, so I just switch.
- Spaced armor hovers
- Easy to use super durable (impossible to dewheel with how op wheel dura has become) W meta (dogs, shotguns, wangs, lances, tusk droners) These are still a big problem but the 2.0 hover gigabuff has eclipsed shotguns.
- Excessive saturation of battlepass fused items that make the game p2w, but only if you were there to get all those battlepass items to begin with. Fused movement part sets from special to epic, fused special to legendary weapons, fused cabs, fused meta generators. New players can only rely on their skill and dedication because they are lacking in build stats.
- Duration fused daze though quite rare at 9k. Literally impossible to fight back against.
There’s others, but these are the biggest leaky holes in the boat. The crack that can bust open into a ship sinking hole is the monetization and flavor of the year meta that comes with pack sales. They imbalance the game too much to sell packs and battlepasses. If I had to start over playing against people who have several fully fused builds made from battlepass items that they can go down to low PS with, I wouldn’t even bother getting into this game again.
Its way too grindy and the reward for playing a game with this much mechanical difficulty is hardly worth it when most of the effective players are running OP stuff that doesnt require as much effort.
Forgot 4 man squads and omas; oops.
How do you feel about hover?
It should be that people are obsessed with combat efficiency and forget to feel the game itself, which is similar to the cancer in the society I live in now
Well to me I currently don’t find any parts in this game cancerous I used to find the whole packs of dog builds to be that but I don’t get flooded with those builds anymore, not saying they’re not parts in this game that can be called cancerous, for me the real cancerous is some of the player base I’ve come across in-game/forum which is quite sad to be Frank
For me Personally, i just hate to Spectate and waiting for full rewards, looking at a player run away until the time is up.
now this is not directed toward players, but just bad design making us watch in cringe.
I mostly press esc and go to garage when there is no hope for my team.
And also i wish they nerfed machine guns like they nerfed every other weapon in the game. its been more than 5 years now, cmon targem games get your balancing straight.
Yeah that sucks, that and when there is only one teammate left, the enemy starts capping and the teammate goes to hide away in some corner of the map and complain in the chat about how his team sucks until the enemy captures the base
