The fun in raids

stop getting mad in raids, when the raid will still be finished

i see y ppl get mad at u —using a 30k slow build is overkill…

raids r suppose to be fast and 7k…nuff said

i only run ez raids nd i dont really do anything unless i need to

and u wonder y they r mad at u …ez raids r 7k not 30 k …
the higher ur ps…the higher the bots ps…ur team team will die being low ps …

actually its not ive even tested it, it actually depends on how many players have started the raid before others join, so if its a full team starting at once bots take abit to destroy but if its just 2 ppl bots will be very ez to destroy, like i always say for ppl to stop listening to dummies

That brings up another issue. Every so often in missions, you get a guy who brings in a build 6K above everyone else, and sure enough some dolt starts ripping the guy. I’m the only one who sticks up for the high-ps guy…it’s not his fault; blame MM or the lack of other high-ps players available at that time. Everyone has a right to play whatever build level they want, without being cursed out by other players. You shouldn’t play patrols because you have an 18k build? Says who?

unrelated with the spirit of the topic
I don’t know what you are running , the reload seems slow and you didn’t get much damage but i tell you what, a couple of reapers or ACs or something like that, compilers perhaps, it would be a very fun build.
As massive as your build is, perhaps a chameleon or a yeti with AC-80´s, your teammates wouldn’t expect that

im running 2 helicon nd i dont do much of anything in ez raids except waste time since I have almost 12,000 hours in the game

.>has an extremely non-suitable weapon for raids
.>has a really high ps build, which scales HP and damage of the bots

That gotta be ragebait

How does this work, exactly?

I don’t play a ton of raids, but it seems to me like there’s a cap to how strong the bots get at each level, unless they’re keeping the same bots and just juicing the HP and damage.
But even then, it seems almost like it goes the other way: when I’m running a higher PS build, it seems like I don’t do as much damage, rather than the bots having more durability.

And if it does work that way, that would mean that running a high PS build in easy raids wouldn’t make things harder for the low PS players.

But if it’s the way you describe, I can see why low PS players would get mad.

However, when I play a raid and I’m the low PS player, I haven’t noticed the bots being any harder to kill. I might score a bit lower due to the high PS players getting more kills, but that’s not something I care about, as the rewards aren’t different enough.

Has anyone actually done any detailed testing of PS scaling in raids? I have a vague memory of someone saying the devs changed how it works a few years ago.

more team ps = bots have more hp and damage. simple
the scaling isn’t individual, so a 30k player will deal the same damage as a 10k player (considering that the only difference between them is PS, and their overall setups are the same)

have you ever played these new year events on that map with a particle accelerator? i remember trying a 20k ps build, the total team ps was somewhere ~65-70k and some bots literally took TENS OF THOUSANDS of damage to kill lol
