Yes it do. You want’s a levi between 54k-57k to get the maximum amount of matches. You go too high and your matches start to go down again but still more than if you were playing say something that is less than 40k,. During peak hours I get around a match every 10-12 minutes by running a high ps levi in the 54k-57k area.
And you’re on PC, right?
Last Levi I built in the spring never got a single match, but I think I made it too high PS. My new one is getting a few matches a day, and usually killing at least a few players.
I’m on PC. What is the ps of your current levi compared to your last one?
I’d have to check my current one, and I don’t remember what my old one was at. I do know the old one was higher, because I was using every legendary weapon I could fit on there, plus a legendary cab and a lot of movement parts.
Found one major flaw with the design tho, levi won’t switch the bigrams to leg mode, glad I finally got to see it in action. I will be writing a complaint for the devs to fix that.
Thanks, I was wondering about that.
Have you noticed any leviathans activating cabin perks yet?
I have no idea actually I use humpback but considering how a levi can’t even do something as simple as use the leg mode on bigrams I wouldn’t count on a levi making any efficient use of manual perks. I’m rotted after I saw that after playing my levi.
Why you use high ps build for Levi?
Use 4x 5500 ps and you never get Levi higher then 25k ps
4 cars x 5500 = 22000 ps
With friends we use:
1x incerator , 3 x miniguns
That’s it
I already answered that in this thread here if you wanna read thru it. High power score levis net you the most matches and that as never changed since the game released.
Swapped out the bigrams for the gerrida until bigram bug gets fixed and half hour later this is the match I gets. 35 000 damage and 9 players destroyed in 1 battle, only lost cause of repair kits. It was doing good before but now it seems to be even better.
After rewatching footage of my video I now know it at least makes efficient use of the argus module. At the 2:23 to 2:28 mark on my video you can clearly see the levi deploying the argus as soon as it gets hits with the acari and destroying the acari projectile right after thus minimizing damage. It is very important to have argus on your levi just like I originally thought but it was good to see that part in action as well. If it can use argus properly then who knows it might be able to use various cab perks properly too and so far it seems that the stupidity is only tied to its use of the bigrams which I since fixed by replacing them with gerridas.
I am pretty sure I’ve seen a leviathan trigger a verifier too, which was reasonably effective. Might try to add one to mine.
Best modules to put on a levi right now would be pegasus engine, doppler and argus. Those are the 3 essentials. The first 2 is kind of obvious but it don’t seem to be many levis at the moment running argus module which offers acari protection and the acari overtook the throne of incinerator as the biggest levi killer so argus is really crucial to have on your levi.
Aegis works well too, as it blocks Acari shots, and it’s not always visible from longer range that the shields are active.
The more invasion I play, the more I’m better able to improve my own leviathan.
Currently I’m running a lot of explosive weapons on a harpy for my leviathan, but I’m thinking of doing an all-reload build on hadron, maybe with some artillery to take down the tower.
Aegis only covers about 1 quarter of the leviathan and it don’t stop acaris when struck. If you get hit with acari and you got argus installed it destroys the acari soon after and the levi knows when to use it. I don’t have aegis but if I did use it than I would use it to cover parts of the levi that got the weakest weapons like retcher protection but you can’t rely on it to protect from the acari.
Totally true, but there is a double bubble Levi I see sometimes that manages to block a lot of my Acari shots. I suspect it may also have an Argus, as it seems like none of my Acari shots do much to it. I haven’t been able to get close enough to know for sure.
Either that or the parts that extend beyond the two bubbles are all low durability enough that it doesn’t have time to take off much damage.
Aegis and Argus should both be used on sausage levis. Aegis eats a ton of damage and Argus can eat Porcs and Acari bolts.
Another important consideration is flashproofing your levi by not having it be too reload centric. You need some heat based weapons on your build, otherwise you will be completely shut down by a Flash. The loadout I see the most in Levi wars is 2 Scorpions, 3 Toadfish, 3 Destructors and a fourth set of weapons that are usually Retchers, Rippers, Waltz, Helicons and Mastodons.
This is all right as long as you stay at range, but any Flash can halve reload for the entire build and leave you easy pickings for an enemy levi. As a defense against Flashes, it is important for a levi to have Retchers or Imps, or Retchers and Imps to fight back, or have teammates with machine guns that can shoot Flashes off.
The toughest levi setup that I’ve seen is as follows:
A hover levi with 5 Barrier 9s. The levi has Scorpions, Mastodons, Toadfish and Helicons.
He is protected by 3 machine gun (usually Punisher or Nothung)/Stillwind hovers that decloak and degun everything. Two of the machine gun hovers have Acaris as one of their guns.
This setup gets untold amounts of uranium and can push into gold by Thursday on Xbox and then camp there for the week, which is exactly what this team does.
DarthStall I’m mainly referring to invasion. Just about all clan war levis does “decent” in invasion as well even with the induction of acari but they are just not the meta no more in invasion. I wouldn’t blame people for deploying them anyways because it really not worth your time just to make a separate levi just for invasion especially if your earning uranium with said levi.
