What do you guys think of it?
I think it is a step in the right direction.
But i think it could also be improved.
How about, underpowering a weapon make it do less damage, but costing less energy to fit it on your car?
Or overpowering cheaper weapons to do more damage?.
I think there is potential here for a new kind of min max system.
It’s got it’s ups and downs, but all in all I feel like it was kind of a nonsense change, as in rather than doubling energy on almost everything, you could just have introduced 0.5 energy to the old system and it would have stayed the same
I still can only mount 4, 3 or 2 of specific energy cost weapons, and while I can now put some more modules onto the build, I could have done the same on the old system if some 1 energy parts were changed to 0.5 energy and so on.
It’s like “WE HAVE INVENTED PANTS 2.0, NOW EACH TROUSER LEG IS SOLD SEPARATELY YET YOU HAVE TO USE 2 AND IT’S PRETTY MUCH NORMAL TROUSERS BUT CAME IN TWO PARTS”
