Ehhh… there’s some interesting matches at higher PS. One match I landed 8 Rajin shots straight to weapons on a bot (pre nerf) and he still had his HAMMERFALLS.
Patrol is usually easy. So when a buffed bot match comes around it really throws you off.
I play CC and Cyclones have become my least worry. Now, when I see a team with three, dual cyclones, I know I have it pretty easy. Fire dogs and mine layers are more of a threat to me.
What do you typically play in CC?
I had been favouring close range builds when everyone was playing Cyclones, but now that the meta has shifted I want to shake things up a bit again.
It’s not apparent to me yet what the new CC meta is, and it looks to me like people are trying a lot of different things to find out what’s working. I’m just waiting for something to come out on top, so that I can concentrate on countering whatever that ends up being.
I’ve noticed more people running Threshers lately. I always liked them in the past, but most people here seemed to think they were weak. Did they get a buff, or did others just figure out how to use them?
I might give them another try, or maybe a Lucifer build. I use both of them in similar ways, but I could see threshers being a better option because of the PS limit.
Eventually I’m going to get a Raijin, but I want the price to drop more first. In the meantime, I’ve rediscover Fatman.
Well, i think there-s no problem with this new ammo system .
Before i ran out of drones often, now i-m running out of drones often.
feels the same.
Before i didn-t use any ammo for SGs and MGs, now it-s the same.
Ya, as long as they don’t use this feature as an opportunity to sell premium ammo, I think it’s working fine.
I’m glad to see the Phddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd… is finally over. I think it was way too overbearing. This is a weird fix for just that though, IMO, and I hope it’s not what is causing the recent lag issues, although it hasn’t been bad the last couple days. It sucked pretty bad there for a while.
They’re great at close range, but I think too many people were trying to use them at longer ranges.
I have the most success when sneaking up on someone and unloading into their centre of mass. Often pops their explosive modules in the first overheat cycle.
So please help me here.
Do cyclones still need cooling even though they are ammo based now?
I understand its a projectile weapon and needs ammo but does this mean i shouldn’t need to use Radiators for cooling or cooliers?
they do. though could you imagine a cyclone that acted like a reaper? no overheating and dependant only on the amount of ammo you have? yeesh that would be a nightmare.
