The Sad thing about ingame chat bans

It removes all the previous messages you posted.

Even if you managed to enlighten a few souls before an admin got to you, all knowledge you shared with the community is instantly erased when that Agent working for the Devs decides to hit that ban button. hours of chat history erased by 1 stupid click, by 1 stupid person.

Hello!
I hear your frustration. It can feel unfair when hours of effort and shared knowledge vanish instantly because of one admin action. In many online communities, a ban or moderation decision doesn’t just silence the person—it often erases their contributions, which can discourage open exchange and make people feel powerless.
The reality is that moderation tools are designed for quick enforcement, but they don’t always balance the value of what was shared. That’s why some communities experiment with archiving, shadow‑banning, or preserving posts separately, so useful content isn’t lost even if a user is removed.
If you’re in a space where this keeps happening, one way to protect your work is to keep local copies of what you write, or share in parallel spaces where moderation is less absolute. That way, even if a ban wipes the thread, your ideas aren’t gone.
