The Syndicate returns in the new Crossout season. Part 1

The Syndicate returns in the new Crossout season. Part 1

Hello, survivors!

The “Next step” season is coming to a close. As battle walkers became commonplace in the Wasteland, the Scavengers and the Syndicate begun fighting over the “Oracle” activation module. The last season was all about the Scavengers, which means it’s time to turn to the other side of the conflict. The Syndicate returns in the “Wasteland drift” season!

While preparing for the decisive battle, the Syndicate has been busy developing new high-tech modules and weapons. There will be a lot of interesting parts waiting for you in the next update. Let’s warm our curiosity up in this entry by having a look at the legendary engine and light cabin. And now, for more details!

We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. This applies not only to information about possible unique features of new parts, but also to the appearance of the parts themselves.

The “Satori” legendary light cabin

The mechanics of the new light cabin are familiar: this cabin builds upon the much-loved “Jannabi”. Get ready to put all your masterful drifting skills to use behind the wheel of the “Satori”. The new cabin’s perk only works with wheels, just like its predecessor’s.

Just like “Jannabi”, the new cabin gives a damage bonus for drifting. Except that this legendary version provides an additional bonus to damage for prolonged continuous drifting, in addition to the basic damage increase for manoeuvres.

Please note that the “Satori” damage bonus resets gradually after you stop drifting, not immediately. To unlock the full potential of the new cabin, you need to be able to skid across the Wasteland for a long time.

The “Oyabun” legendary engine

The new engine builds upon the “Hot red”. Its mechanics are also related to reverse acceleration, but the perk is triggered under certain conditions. “Oyabun” will allow you to quickly recover after an unfortunate “encounter” with any obstacle. A nice bonus of the engine is that it does not require energy.

In the event of a significant loss of speed after a collision, the “Oyabun” will increase the reverse speed and power of the vehicle, allowing for a quick escape from a difficult situation. What a twist!

New structural parts

And this is only the beginning! Let’s make a sharp turn to the next devblog entry, it’s just around the corner. Wait a second, who plasma blasted everything around here?! Ah, whatever. Stay tuned!

thought id post this here since i didnt see anyone doing it.

i like that they are adding a new engine as a better version of the hot red.

also didnt think the syndicate would be getting another yet. i thought they would add more parts and stuff to factions that dont have as many. guess i was wrong.

I love the syndicate parts, and all of this looks good to me.
I suspect I will be using both the engine and the cabin a lot.

I’ve always wanted a better hot red with no energy!! :open_mouth:

Relic plasma ball launcher gun thing maybe?? (If so I don’t care as I’ll never afford any relics) :sob:

I had asked for a double barreled quasar pancake cannon while back. Could be that.

a delicious part of a balanced breakfast! :yum:

I had also asked for a plasma emitter autocannon a while back too. Those are the few that I can remember suggesting.

Looks good. They really want us all playing above 9k, don’t they?

I think the idea is to use the BPs as a way of letting newer players access higher PS play and Clan Wars quicker.
I’m guessing they hear the complaints about the grind and P2W, and are trying to address that by giving you enough stuff in a relatively cheap BP to make at least a 9kPS build, so that even a new player could potentially have a build strong enough for Clan Confrontation relatively quickly.
I’m sure some would say it would be better to just reduce the grind, but they are trying to run a business here. And the cost of a BP is barely enough to buy me lunch, so it’s the kind of impulse purchase many are going to go for.

If they didn’t put a few legendary parts in each BP, most people aren’t going to see it as being worth the money.

I’m sure they’ll be some special and epic items too though.

Recently I made a couple low PS builds using special tier cabins that I’d fused during the event and a mixture of legendary and epic gear, but with no generators to keep my PS low. Turns out that putting a Finwhale on a Jockey makes it a lot more fun to drive!

Sounds about right to me.

Probably true, but if they didn’t, I’d be more prone to get one. It’s why I haven’t gotten one in over a year. It’s probably why I won’t get this one either…looks nice though.

The number of parts they have is kind of lacking. Kaiju, Rajin, the minelayer and drone, the two melee weapons and the Yongwang. That’s it I think, only 7 weapons for the faction, with the Kaiju and Rajin being the only “normal” ones. Can we get an adapter-style weapon from them?

Only three cabins, Yoko Jannabi and Beacon 11, and only two (three now, I guess) movement parts.

Or am I missing any parts?

Kami would be the cab your missing.

they should allocate some of that development budget to getting new players

Plasma shotgun? Better Racing Wheels, or another repeat drift-version of the Stallions?

I’m not a fan of the Cambers. They don’t seem to have any functional feature, and they are too small and look weird. IDK what to do with them. I use Racing Wheels.

I think they ninja-nerfed drift slightly (at least with Racing Wheels), and shotguns. This is the set up.

  • Plasma Shotgun.

  • Drift Wheels.

  • Speed rework…what does that even mean, anyway? What do they plan on doing to “speed?” IDK.

I haven’t used my Jannabi since Supercharged 2.0, when they fashioned it so you had to use omnidirectional movement parts to make any gun work, due to a game-wide nerf of all things pertaining to rotation speed.

That was back before Billy took too much diazepam and forgot who he was. He used to buff rotation speed too. Now I make him live in the shed. He makes origami crafts with Coupons and Shell Casings and sells them down at the gas station for money to buy cigarettes and Ramen Noodles. It’s sad, but you can’t stop loving your kids, you know?

The Jannabi II is going to have the same problem as the Jannabi; Very few guns offer the kind of rotation speed you need to have to keep synchronized with the Jannabi drift-perk. I’m sure the new Plasma Junkbow (or whatever) will be well suited for this task? Maybe? I see they widened the drift-perk’s parameters with the Jannabi II…rather than fixing the original Jannabi to where it might work again…oh well, I’ll just buy the new one, right?

I can’t wait to see the new Spooge-gun. Zplat-zplat! I’m sure it will be interesting.

Cool stuff but since they dont plan to revert sht ammo patch, i wont be there anymore to buy it.
