It’s Saturday a lot of casuals just like me or you , no long waiting times, balanced MM, some hard fights in a good way… lots of confusion, brawls, lots of victories and defeats decided at the last moment it was a good session.
I saw some crazy things like a catalina heli, with tritons, may seem good on paper…but only in paper…
This game is still full of life.
I’ve been really enjoying the game more lately. Seeing a lot of diverse builds, and seems like people are trying new things. Wait times have been good for me too.
I fee like while the game is not certainly dead yet, the game would need to take some serious steps to making itself better if it does want any kind of survival rather than focusing on trying to milk the last whales as much as possible for as long as possible.
For starters, release the Uranium so people can actually gain it rather than it being gatekept so hard. It does not work, people will give up and move on rather than what I imagine they think people will do, grind harder and harder and more feverishly just to gain it. Relics are a big part of the game (obvious by how hard they are gatekeeping uranium from being available to the common folk) and I imagine that people not that keen on playing that much could feel more inclined to play, if they suddenly could access relics realistically. Uranium and relics should not be some kind of premium not available for the “common masses”, instead of making people interested in it, you’re turning them off of the whole concept and into a mindset that supports racism against relic users and owners as a whole
Other would be classic pvp but with no grouping allowed. Biggest no-fun moments these days I run into in this game is trying to play some not optimized and more creative builds like funky weapon combinations, only to run into 2-3 person optimized Corax builds for multiple matches in a row where the matched won’t even last one minute, for an entire stretch of 2 hours of gameplay
Would that fix the entire game? Nope, but it’d be a start and I imagine that even addressing those two things would possibly bring back some players and keep the game interesting to those players who are currently struggling to find reasons to care about playing
And once the “casual fodder” is gone you’ll have the screeching tearfest of those top players no longer finding joy in the game when they are forced to go against one another and regular pvp turns into clan wars 2.0 can’t escape the sweat, rather than doing their daily guaranteed victories and bloating their opinions of how good they are

Forget about Uranium, i don’t see that happening , the day they do that will be the day they introduce a new in game coin or resource.
IMO relics should be where they are now, not for the common people, if…
Now, imagine how worse it would be if everyone ran optimized ( or not ) builds that could one shot everything.
I think they are trying to do that, to fix the complain about MM, not with relics but with Legendary, almost if not all new releases has been Legendary weapons and…

I think they should give more attention to epics, specials, rare… but they will not Legendary are the new epics, they will win more money and push players upwards in an attempt to solve the MM problem upstairs.
The main problem it’s not groups or [ insert op weapon ] but how boring and stale the game become in normal PVP, normal PVP already resembles a competitive mode.
Power weapons = Powerful builds (e.g. bricks ) well, that will kill diversity and trials…and learning
All you are left with is what you ( and others ) complain about.
I don’t know from where but i’m seeing more new players lately lots of isotope paint and the other one, builds with no paints at all, things like that and that’s a good thing, it means new people are coming…
I’m also noticing a lot of new players, especially in certain modes.
I run a casual clan, mostly just so that I have access to Clan Confrontation and some extra badges. There are a few people from the forum, but the rest are just randoms that I’ve invited because they weren’t already in a clan.
Because of this, I’ve become more aware of where the new players spend their time, and that far more are coming and going than I thought.
I kick people if they haven’t played in a couple weeks, and so I’m very aware that a lot of people play for a while and then move on, but it’s never hard to find more to take their places.
I’ve also been surprised to see that there are lots of players who’ve been around for years, but who only play occasionally. Not sure what that means.
