This game communication is so bad and leads to have a toxic base players who only want to insulting each other not to build friends and survive together, why is that ? Because you only can chat while you active (online ) even if you’re in clan and you want to leave msgs to your team members they have to be online to see it that’s kinda funny!! Why there is no inbox for each players to found if there is any player need there help or tell them to open the game in specific time to play together or what ever they need ? I’m sure it’s not hard to add that simple command .
Stay safe and try to make friends let’s get this community to another level than the dev want us to be (lol) !
Yeah I thought about that too. It would be great to be able to leave messages for other players (on friends list and clan) to read when they log in, especially for scheduling events and such like you said (“will be away for a week”, “clan wars at 7PM tonight”, etc). Would be very useful since not everyone wants to share email addresses.
Me and my officers in clan (mainly @The_Purple_Snit ) use the announcement box to exchange messages from time to time, but the veterans and lower clan members aren’t able to use that. I would love a new mail feature!! I wonder how it would impact the servers though?
Depending on how much text they let you store, it wouldn’t have to be a big undertaking. Say for example, each player could store up to 30 messages with a maximum text limit of 1K per message (text only, no videos or pictures); now let’s say there’s 30,000 Crossout players. That works out to 900K for message storage…a drop in the bucket.
did a bot write this??
the reason toxic players are so toxic is cause they are manchildren, not because they cant communicate with their clan lol. its because they are immature and never passed first grade so they take out their baby rage on others for some reason or another.
a mail feature or bulletin board or something would be a nice feature to have in it though. communication in clans is key.
while i agree game should allow messages lifetime being longer than game-session to arround like 7 days even.
But in general there are ton of communication apps people use(most common for gamers is Discord). crossout chat is about game sessions mostly and only to get into other communication app like discord.
Every modern gamer use Discord. there are people who dont, but its their choice to still be in stoneage.
For companies there is Slack, there is also Telegram and some other coutry-based ones, or Facebook even. but… for gaming… its mostly just about Discord you can use on phone(if you Ps player lets say) or PC
if someone do not use it, it means he is “seasonal” player only.
Also most professional players even use Voice chat on discord.(there is TS/mumble/etc tho too)
Not every buddy use discord or maybe they have discord but they’re not focusing on which new msg has sent to read , i was on a clan with discord and we only have 3 to 6 players use it from 20 so msg system will make sure u have read the msg left by clan leader or what ever who send it .
its not about that,
we should have an in game message board for clan the other can be an email for friends that are not online atm.
each clan member has a spot they can type.and they can delete it when they want to or edit it.of course if abused the leader can delete it.
no one likes to add more programs to their pc ect
its not about players online, its offline and having a feature in game.
