someone was asked to do a video telling the devs ways to improve the game and he gave alot of valid reasons and points for improving the game. he did send it to the devs to cause the devs asked him for feedback. hopefully they listen.
its the other way around, if they improved the game, more players would come.
right now they built an impressive momentum of players quitting, and each update pushes more over the line.
its catered to whales who probably dont care about gameplay, but rather winning against other players by any means (like their wallets)

this exactly. the game hasnt received a significant update in literal years. all its been is just battlepasses, mini battlepasses and packs. maybe 1 or 2 maps thrown in here and there but the entire game has come to a halt and many players are pissed with not just the lack of content but the amount of toxicity and seal clubbing thats been going on in the game. i honestly dont blame them for not coming back since they wont bother to improve the game.
reminds me of elden ring of the pathetic people who get end game gear just to kill beginner players then send them messages telling them to āgit gudā. its the same with the wallet warriors of this community, they love to shove money into the game just to pick on beginners because they dont have the skill to take on anyone else lol.
what updates? lol. aint no updates to be found here chief! unless you mean balance updates.

i know we all hate crossout devs but come on, lets give them some credit where its due.
its incredibly rare to find a game with such frequent, consistent and fleshed out updates which are so effective at repulsing the entire playerbase, even before anyone reads the update notes

seems no matter what the GMs do, this topic keeps coming up. It is honestly amusing that despite their best efforts, they cannot silence the truth forever. Guess Iāll pitch in some observations of mine to keep this train going.
Anyways, I can say that the good news is that the player base drop has stabilized around the 2.5k player count according to steam charts. Bad news is that itās a delicate balance atm. One wrong move within the year or so, and crossout goes up in smoke, and the player base may die out overnight. Considering Gaijinsā greed and toxicity praising is getting out of hand in recent years, I view this as the inevitable outcome of their terrible decisions.
The RU server seems pretty full when I am supposed to be sleeping in Central Time Zone or 6 times zones west of GMT.
i think you underestimate how clueless or dedicated some players are.
most existing players who still fund the game are already aware of p2w issues and dont care.
it takes more than just another horrible update to change these players mind
But some (Like myself) were in fact able to piece what is about to happen within the next 1 to 2 years. Only those who donāt know better will fund it blindly, but they will only be delaying the inevitable outcome of its demise.
and itās not like Targem is oblivious to this either. even got word that wade mentioned a quote mentioning āOne of the last wintersā which is a curious statement. seems they have long set its due date, and the whales are completely oblivous to what is now set in stone.
Iām just one of those who figured it out first long before wade even acknowledged our suspicions. plain and simple.

We should be. But most Ignore the prices of everything going up every year, or sooner.
Nothing we can do about it. At least the devs arenāt raising battle pass prices.
Like everything else in life.
Plus its a Russian game, and since the war, their reputation was tarnished.
The devs arenāt fully responsible for the games downfall. Alot of factors.
Nothing in lifes gonna get easier or better so we should enjoy what we have now, because the future only gets worse

i think many people are mad at landlords or grocery stores, even though the sources of these issues are deeper than people are able to see
the infuriating thing about this game is that they would literally make way more money if they unfucked the game and got more players, instead of robbing a few deluded leftovers.
they are just so blinded by greed for more beautiful dollars that they cant stop for 1 second to think if theyre doing remotely the right thing to get what they want
