This last update it's not that bad after all

In a nut shell.
I don’t need ammo, and some weapons actually turned to be playable in PVP.
I have to try out SGs and some ACs.
But the preliminary tests show me that this last update it’s all right.
In a drone perspective, i went from 4 to 6 and now back to 4 again, 6 was a nice safety net, but i can battle with 4 like i always did.
Yesterday i encounter a Minigun build and i was surprised for how long i lasted without being disarmed in an instant like the norm.
Things get longer to do, but it also gets longer to be done, and this is nice. it works both ways, we can enjoy the moment and have some fun in the process.
Things were getting ridiculous with all the insta killing and insta disarming.
Overall the difference isn’t much, so far, but it’s enough to be noticed.
Ammo limitations are a placebo ( if you ask me ) i never run out of ammo with my MGs , so far

Im glad i can play with cannons in pvp again, they pack a punch now and feel more realistic.

My builds still can withstand whatever canon they were made for. And if canon players are happier, that only will add to the good times.
I’ve got to admit, at a certain point was getting quite boring dishing out a crazy amount of damage from them, i think, once, i took 13 direct hits to start to see some visible damage to my build ( not all in the same place ), he only won because i run out of drones.
But that wasn’t the exception, that was the rule.
That same build could take 2 direct shots from avalanche and be 100% functional.

Not sure what PS you are, do you like the fatman spam? Same shit as Raijin was for a while we gonna have 3-6 fatman players per game around 9k.

Remove 18 Energy worth of weapons, mount 18 Energy worth of Spears.

Same garbage after the Explosion Rework.

Either the penetration is too high, or the explosion radius is too large.

They tested this beforehand?

Worst Developers ever.

These players are not cannon players per se. They play whatever is most effective.

This is not “Make cannons great again”, this is “Make cannons OP again!”

Ive played cannon builds 9 years ago when the game just started and wedge builds werent invented yet.
And i watched as the game became more hitscan and melee focused, i played cannon builds thru all of that, so its nice that cannons get a buff again after years of suffering. :+1:

i wish all weapon classes were at least somewhat balanced compared to each other but the developers are so fucking useless this will never come and i will die never knowing what fair crossout feels like

All my guns already used ammo before the update, so I have no idea how bad other guns have it rn. I main reapers btw.

yeah, they bite a bit more, but it’s nothing special despite the armour nerf, despite a lot of things. ( like the BFs buff that turned out to be a nerf to my build, more weight = less armour, what i’ve gained in durability of the wheels…it doesn’t pay off what i lost in
strength of armour, an effective nerf to my build that i didn’t ask for it ).

Make canons OP again it’s a bit too much, for what i’ve seen from other builds, generally speaking, it says more about the bad place the canon builds were than how good and armoured up other builds were…for crying out loud there are naked builds performing well in the battles…that always amazed me, such builds are a anomaly, they should be one shot, but even them, can survive a canon shot.

A lot doesn’t make any sense.

Now, i’m not happy with the armour nerf…but came on, you can’t build whatever and then complain about other weapons being OP.
My Puncher, i rebuild it several times, time and time again ( several people certainly will attest to that ). to dodge nerfs and buffs, and it’s still running it can fuck up canon builds and regular melee builds also, pretty good.
Storm chaser it’s not as good doing that ( it used to be ), but, at least, it can still take a few in the chin from canons.
But even builds of mine prior to that were canon proof, like this one , it could eat for breakfast canons up to Tsunami. ( it died with the co-driver rework ) It was good against fire dogs and sparkly dogs

It’s not with naked builds, exposed weapons and so on, either of them were pretty good in their time against all sorts of canons regardless where they were mounted on, it reached a point where if the other guy had canons i knew i would win before the duel even started, and things would be that way the majority of times, the times where i would lose were in those times where the canon build had backup.

Armour up more your build ( whatever may be) and you will see.

I know if i face a canon build, i know that i can out trade him, out live him. Not as intact like it used to be, but e.g. Puncher still got it.

No problema.
It’s much better than triggers, destructors or tempuras.
I face them time to times, 7k and 7.5k, so i get them too.
And if they shoot my build, they already lost.
the difference is before i could face up to 3 ( one at a time ), now 1 or even 2.

Puncher is not as good against the bots with legendary or relic, but still can do it, but for that i have other things.
In fact when i use drone builds i tend to avoid PVE and raids.
