Common is 2x2x3
Rare is 2x2x6
Epic could be 4x2x6 and hold 20 fuel, not hard IMO
Apollo for comparison is 6x2x6 which is 50% larger

I wish we didn’t need to assume that size and rarity are relative. Ergonomics is really the only perk I’m interested in, and if rarity and size needed to be relative, then I’d prefer it worked the other way around.
Size and fit are solutions I prefer, and the awkward sizes and shapes of many weapons make them undesirable to me. This is a dynamic that does seem to increase with rarity and makes “progress” counterintuitive to the build feature, IMO.
I question whether this premise needs to be observed at all. Why do we presume this must be so?
I’d wish they’d raise the max limit of fuel gainable per fight to 20 no matter how you have it set up, like you could run 2 blue, 1 blue 2 white, 4 white and so on
could you imagine if it was unlimited?
i would laugh if someone strapped on like 10 or 15 rare fuel tranks and somehow survived to get 10 fuel per tank lol.
no i know thats not possible, im just saying it would be funny!
It would be the legendary cloak, fuel cells for the cloak and then just fuel tanks. lol
ya i mentioned fuel tank needs some love lol
Doesn’t have to be bigger, look at the Chill (2x4x4) vs. Seal (1x4x4).
It could be much more durable, give 20 fuel, be smaller, but explode with the force of a legendary generator.
The premise for fuel tanks is probably stupid. I mean, how are they supposed to work, osmosis? Magic?
I think they should rework the fuel scavenging concept and fit it for Adventure mode, which needs an overhaul really bad anyway.
I like the idea earning fuel in Adventure.
I think the fuel tank is supposed to work like:
No.
And they could take down the other ones.
Then how you gonna grind for fuel?
i think its more along the lines of defeat your enemies and drain whats left in their tanks or you defeat the enemy and you raid their base / storage supplies. idk how it works but thats the gist i get from it.
This is an assumption that only goes in linear terms. The game is 3D. Different shapes than rectangles may be used.
I like the idea of a purple fuel tank that gives 15 fuel and either:
That’s sorta what I meant, yeah.
I don’t.
There are so many things you can grind, non exploding things, things that doesn’t take any space needed for something else, like modules, rads, coolers, radars…
In the end you are carrying around a built in weak spot on your build with the potential of screwing up your " day " once the whatever part that covers it gives up. Sometimes, not even that, sometimes a thing on the other build explodes in a lucky shot, could be a gen, or that, or ammo.
If 'm not mistaken to get the fuel you have to survive the battle and the tank and barrel must not be destroyed. in the end you are getting less than the other resources and you are not getting much for your troubles of carrying around what’s basically a bomb
It doesn’t pay off.
When i want some more fuel i just buy it. Which is rare cause, if only we could choose our favourite raids, but no, we have to wait, and often i miss mine favourite maps.
Many times the fuel that i have in a daily basis comes and goes untouched.
Or as i discovered very recently doing patrols for cooper you can get more than a 3 hard raids, the problem there, often i don’t get the time to do all patrols in a day that 200 fuel allows me to.
i have 17k fuel in my inventory and i havent touched it in like… years… because the stupid raids are randomized and both raids are the same for each difficulty. idk why they changed it to be that way, just make them both random again!
You might not, but others do. So why should the game change to remove a part only you want removed, but that ultimately doesn’t affect you?
we could pick whatever raids we would want.
the changes they made turned to be better than they used to be, but yes, they could make it better.
that way i would do founders canyon and rock city to my heart’s content.
I don’t want it removed… per say, but if they did that , i would not be crying over it, i just see no point of those things…let alone an epic version.
But i understand others may want to strap a explosive device to their build
that will bring no gains the most of the times.
I wouldn’t mind one if there was an advantage in using it over the combo of common + Rare tanks. I actually wouldn’t mind if it was even more explosive, I don’t necessarily have to use it as a fuel tank to use it.
rock city is the best map imo. very open and lets you get the jump on them. it allows you time to get around. the other ones feel very small and congested. only real downside is you need a doppler to know where they are coming from. it just makes it easier really.
