They resurrected an ancient weapon from the graveyard and caused mayhem. Old weapons should have never been left behind by power creep and nerfs. But I could understand how the Developers would desire for players to desire the new weapons and maybe spend some cash to get them. How many Tows are sitting in storage of players who quit after they were nerfed? Other players have owned Tows for years and have not touched them in those years because they stunk. Most probably did not realize the huge buff they were given until they got destroyed by a Tow user. I never crafted a Tow because they were garbage in average hands. I saw some who, with practice, could dominate the battle with a Tow and King mines for defense, but not many.
The developers never realize what a player can assemble to make the most of a new perk and never get the damage setting correct on the first try. So, the Tow will once again go through the nerf cycle, I believe. But for now, it is overpowered.
So long story short, my modified vehicle for now.
Full on spaced armor again, ruining the look of my vehicle. Meh

Not like they looked good before, if your exhibition builds were anything to go off of, and as far as I can remember you haven’t ever posted in “Show us your builds”
I’m starting a fight where I don’t need to…
Anyways. The TOW is actually good now. It’s not OP, it’s fairly balanced. Yes, you can get it to do a lot of damage, but you can get high damage output with a lot of weapons. Just 'cause you can’t doesn’t mean the weapon needs a nerf.

You are correct but it will be nerfed. How can the Developers make money from an old weapon?
This vehicle at least looked like a car, but the Passive Melle and Bumpers have been replaced with Grilles. They nerfed the damage my Hatchets and Cutters and Bumpers deal, so they have been replaced with Grilles.
In the past, the farther the missile travelled, the more damage it did. The closer you got to the wielder, the less damage it did. Now the damage is the same as you charge the user who is trying to hide. But, he cannot hide from my Detector, and I go get him, losing my front grilles to reach him.
So, until they nerf the thing, I will have ugly vehicles again.
My vehicles looked more like a Batmobile instead of a mobile fence.
I really like the change of returning the pov back to your own car after you hit the turbo on the missile. But I think that this is not yet as balanced as it can be, I’d tone down the damage boost from modules, but also buff the reload time in return, so it won’t hit as hard per missile, but you can get missiles out more rapidly. Maybe even more flight time by a few seconds
This would discourage the kind of cheese gameplay where you hug the edges of the map, move from one position to another with boosters while reloading slowly, and just remote guided avalanche builds, and turns it way more into the kind of support role the devs always wanted it to be in, where you can send out weaker rockets but at a bit of a faster pace
buff, add to pack and raise price to 10000 coins, obviously

but TOW pass through parts due some bullet damage threshold, it do not explode immidietly as i seen.
So IDK if i seen wrong or you just builded something useless
Are you having that big of an issue with Tow missiles?

TOW is finally useful, but it’s definitely not OP.
Play it for a few hours, and you definitely won’t get many MVPs, but at least it’s possible now to get the occasion one.
And there is no reason a TOW build needs to be ugly. If anything, it’s now best on a small fast car, so you can relocate quickly when the enemy approaches.

With helicopters out now and guiding a tow across the map with those egg beaters whizzing overhead with their point of view, I personally won’t bother with one. IMHO it sounds like a great way to set your self up to get snuffed out while playing rocket jockey . Truely far from what it once was but slightly more annoying.
Like flatulence , It too will pass.
That’s only a potential issue in the new arcade mode. Even then, just hide under some cover.
I’m going to get myself another Aegis, since legendary modules give it the biggest damage boost.
I do not have a problem with Tow, I charge them and try to immobilize them and surround them with Turrets. I seem to be the only one who goes after them.
Previously it was the Special Tempura and the new Epic version that were overpowered and extending my Frames and covering all sides with Passive Melee or Bumpers would protect me from them. They would regret ramming into me and try to run away and find an easier target. Now, it is the Tow. I am nobody’s missile sponge. I will adapt to the battlefield. The battlefield is littered with Tow users. So, of course I adapted. The Grilles and Frames still protect me from Tempura, just not as effectively as Bumpers.
I am not playing the Tow, I am hunting them, thus the ugly car.
I do not play with copters unless forced to by my desire to complete a challenge.
Patrol players are laughing at your need to “adapt”. My friend, if you just played against the bots there would be VERY little you’d have to change with each passing update.
How can you win 23 battles for Wires and Batteries by playing Patrol? That is many unearned Badges.
Why would you continue earning 33 percent Scrap?
Most Missions have 4 Bots per side, so very much like Patrol anyway.
PS. in Patrol, my 8500 PS vehicle was matched with 15000 PS ally and against 12000 PS bots. Real fair.
Now, 9000 versus 15,000.
Ah, you’re in it for scrap.
I always seem to be fine there…
