Unbalanced Parts (tiers) is a GOOD Thing

I wonder how many millions that mistake cost?

What’s your bet on what happened? looking at it, I’d say the bounce triggered an emergency, automatic take-off routine (which is a good idea tbh)… which forgot to send the info to the front thruster.

I have no idea, but seems safe to assume it’s some kind of computer glitch that caused it.
Whenever I have a bad day at work, a video like that reminds me that it could be much worse.

On a side note, can you imagine driving a car down the highway and seeing a fighter jet lose control like that directly beside you?

I probably wouldn’t feel super safe about it hahaha. That thing looks like it might try to take off again even without a pilot U_U

I like the imbalance that is in crossout yeah sure some times it is annoying but what you can do and learn is fun.

Example you can go quick an easy with MGs which are allways effective or build an expensive meme build that has no purpose other then to annoy the enemy. either can be fun.

Also nothing beats the rage people feel when you beat them with something like a tow.

This happened the other day with a Russian SU-30.

In the top right corner of the image you can see the pilot parachute as he ejected.

The pilot was safe. The apartments… not so much.

For different reasons, I’m somewhat the same way. I no longer sell any parts other than the occasional rare or common to get the weekly challenges. My inventory is full of garbage I never use.

As for the F-22 or F-35 and this 5th generation nonsense…

You guys may not remember, but the F-117 was a rumor right up until we started flying it over Baghdad. The US had been flying that thing for a decade + before they admitted it, and they only admitted it because they knew CNN would be seeing it from rooftops in Iraq.

It’s kinda’ like this hypersonic missiles debate. People act like the US doesn’t have any or any way to counter them.

Riiiiiight.

Gents, the X15 was a manned hypersonic plane, and it predates the retired space shuttle. :joy: Whatever the US admits to having is probably 20 years old.

EDIT:
Just remembered… when they captured Bin Laden, one of the helicopters crashed. They blew it up, but a tail section was left behind and clearly photographed. It didn’t belong to any helicopter the US has admitted to having, but looked an awful lot like the supposedly cancelled prototype “Comanche” stealth helicopter. It wasn’t the same, but had that edgy stealth look to it with odd props.

F-35

Built before Supercharged update, so, it’s broken now but still on the ex. Y’all can take turns fixing it up. Enjoy!

Its cute saying a large weapon imbalance is good (i dont know for what reason anyone would think that), but you are playing a nimble tanky build with shotguns, doesnt really matter that much what tier they are, shotguns are known to be quite good at close range so even low tier shotties wreck (whod think) but then go ahead and play a weak and newly very unstable (or slow) hover. Then go and play against someone with relics (such as scorpion or typhoon). What happens is: you get stripped instantly across the entire map with the scorp, or you get massive knockback and stun effect from the typhoon constantly, what i mean that a hover usually has almost no chance against a relic like this unless it happens to be a really bad matchup. Its pretty obvious no other tier has nearly the same capabilities as relics like the cannons, shotguns (which are generally strong) or porcs. Im sure any shotgun player would love playing against an aware player with those. Now with the movement update where tiny thin hovers are unplayably wobbly, the threat of an unhittably fast long range sniper that is capable of stripping anyone they decide to (possible exclusively due to relic weapon) was eliminated, its obvious that was and is a relatively big issue

If you’d read what was written before you responded, you’d both know the answer to that and also wouldn’t gave responded the way you did.

What’s that old saying about two ears and one mouth?

When game balance allows somebody to beat another player while using less skill and effort, or completely deny them any ability to retaliate before dying in 5 seconds there’s a problem. Hovers, catalina, and daze need 2 get nerfed. Fast turning weapons that do a lot of alpha damage could also use a nerf that doesn’t include damage nerfs.

My fused Destructor hover eats relics.

No doubt.

Dude… no lie… my fused quad-sledgehammers will strip a scorp hover before he knows what happened. LOL

how embarassing

With a few exceptions, owning relics is just a way to show you spend faster than you think.

“So yeah… a lot of words to say having an unbalanced game actually makes the game more interesting and realistic.”

Are you playing a videogame for realism, or entertainment and fun? If youre playing for realism, then you can go ahead and uninstall crossout.

“Nothing like doing the proper research, grinding, buying, then having your new toy nerfed into uselessness.”

It is annoying when game developers seemingly never play their own game and then make big decisions, nerf buff and add new weapons / parts, but you cant just go grind for a new weapon that is incredibly overpowered and then expect the developers to keep the stats unchanged just because youve put time or money into it. I agree that a game shouldnt nerf and buff too often, which completely deletes any balance the game has built up, but weapons too overpowered are not a good thing for the game either

Im not saying all non-relic weapons are shit and all relics are unbeatable, and if destructor happens to be a good matchup against something like a scorpion that doesnt mean that all weapons have such an easy time playing against a long range high damage and perfect accuracy cannon.
You also probably cannot expect a cannon with zero splash damage to fare well against a quad shotgun build. There is a large rarity gap, but you can never expect those two specific weapon types to have a fair fight. There arent many weapons that work well against a shotgun build anyway

This is where teamwork comes in. If you’re playing with random people, you never bring a drake into a battle, and you’re very much gambling with drones or sniper builds. Shotguns can defend themselves - as can machine guns, miniguns etc.

Put a few people together who know what rolls each build type plays and everything changes.

in any game where youre able to pay2win your way up (and even in games where you cant) you can never rely on your teammates, unless youre playing with friends or your clan. randoms lack braincells and they do not know what teamplay is. and with that, it will be hard to play scorps againt shotungs. although if the shotgun player doesnt have invisibility they probably cant even get close to a scrop, but once they do get close scorps have no chance. its like trying to use a bow and arrow for defense while an animal is chomping on your neck, useless

95% useless in Crossout, not sure how many stay long enough past level 30; I guess they don’t, that’s why it’s so dead

Oh no, 5k PS hovers don’t 1v8 entire teams of noobs anymore, call the balance police!

Now, just gotta nerf the shit out of their lategame so 12k+ PS isn’t 70%+ hovers.
