Is the Only reason i dont play helicopter mech leg mode.
If the devs would remove this stupid gametype and just give everyone 1 life, im sure it would draw in many more players.
and or , take away nests and trombone .
if only they made the circus that are mech legs into less of a double circus with their arcade gamemode.
make mech legs slow and put them into normal games or something
no, this is the exact reason i dont play classic myself is cause the 1 life thing is just stupid. i much prefer to have more then one life and be able to jump back in to help my team. the whole 1 life thing has gotten very stale.
i just wish theyd make gas tanks usable in the multiple lives mode.
No.
If they remove missiles /rockets
then all my efforts will be in vain. I’m trying to do an anti rocket build
Mech legs are not that hard to conquer, you just have to figure out what type of cabin they have, next what type of weapon they have.
If you are heavier than them, go for the legs
or if they are pursuing something else, it’s free time that you have to soften them up
No, the mode isn’t perfect.
Respawns brought three major differences from the classic mode.
You can play much more aggressively
generally speaking the game is much more open
Much more fast paced
So basically, you can spend your entire game in the offense, attack, attack, attack.
Give no quarter, no prisoners
Normally it’s all a huge brawl inside of another brawl.
Sometimes you squash other times you are squashed.
Classic mode in comparison it’s much slower, people are afraid to commit.
Where the two modes differ the most
one it’s strait to the point, the other is more delay the inevitable.
Nowadays i rarely do classic mode .
Until you get the stupid mode where you must bring the capsules to the circle for them to count or steal them from the enemy circle. So, every time you kill an enemy you have to run away home? So stupid, otherwise I can understand the appeal of the way you describe it, but that is hardly ever my experience when forced to play the mode by the challenges.
i think of this as capture the flag. i like it in a sense but i feel it should have its own mode with a bigger twist. you have bases and each team competes to see who can bring the flags back to their base, killing an enemy and standing near your flag resets it to the base. kind of like castle wars in runescape.
though no helis would be allowed cause its a no fly zone.
you play turrets, right?
You know, at first i didn’t like it either, i thought it broke the dynamic and intensity of gameplay but now and specially in desert valley or golf something but then i started to see a change in general gameplay.
Nameless tower, the sintocity map and a few others…
Many games are played in a defensive mode and when that happens i just stay close to the “plate” and don’t go forward, there’s always guys trying to get through, to steal…
well… i have a 14 tons medium build i can push most of medium builds out of the “plate”
I also can pin down a lot of them, when there are teammates returning with the orbs i escort them back providing covering fire or i go strait for the jugular if the other guy is tunnelling vision
In many of these cases the brawls are just inn front of the “plate” and if you die, the chances are you are going to spawn nearby ( in some maps )
In other maps ( the one with a huge satellite dish) you can try to go uphill and drop your turrets.
when your team is the one trying to get through with no effect then it will suck against a defensive team.
But whatever you decide to do, i think the most important is not to get isolated from the rest of the team, go forward when the team is trying to get some orbs and regroup when your team goes to cash in the orbs.
I bet that in, at least, some maps ( sandy golf e.g. ) you can drop turrets near the plate, overseeing the brawl ahead ad use them with much more return than most of other battles
Thanks!
i thought 3 sparks is anti rocket build lol
these rockets r annoying in any match.
i see them,i quit. it’s all just Spam ! that u can’t dodge .
Rockets are easy to repel, just use a Flock (or two). They use no energy, so it’s not a problem to add them to a build. The trick to using them successfully is to point them toward the incoming rockets. Remember that they can be blocked by an overhead rotor (same as trombones can) so placement is critical. They’ve saved my butt countless times in Levi invasions and Bedlam.
They also look like popcorn makers when firing; a boon for art builders!
Sparks are a big problem, but for to create havoc, they have to get close , i also have some ideas i want to try . And i know my builds are way tankier than the average spark build
Because you won’t do much with a spark against a rocket Heli,
the biggest problem i’m having against rocket helis, it’s not the spam per say, that’s it’s the second problem, i’m also testing rockets, the problem nº1 is how to bypass the flock.
Hawks are good against helis in general and i couldn’t beat them with any MG.
I’m thinking in dumb rockets, flocks should not affect them,
Cannons, melee builds, dogs are under control, that hill i already climbed
But how i climbed that hill will not satisfy me against pyre Helis
Against rocket Helis i want a shank to stab, twist and break the blade inside their guts or simple disembowel them
Such violence…
i like just one life too.
I hate the capsules and gamemodes with capsules
