Unplayable, server problems?

Monday morning, still problems…

They went ahead and announced the Big Black Scorpions Tournament for this Saturday, as if everything was fine. They probably should have used the opportunity to say to their community what Charlie9204 told us, supposing that’s true. Charlie’s statement isn’t an official announcement, so even though he means well, it means little more than if I said it (no offense). Any kind of official update on WTF is going on would have been appropriate, but I guess it just slipped their mind?

That’s the strangest thing about this, IMO; the apparent lack of regard for their community, who is their bread and butter…or is it more like wool? I feel like they are taking us for granted at this point.

How are we supposed to enjoy a tournament if the game is broken? What’s the sense in that announcement, if the DDoS attack isn’t addressed? Should I really expect a tournament? Should I be worried about my credit card information? Is it safe to use the game store? How compromised are they? Somebody just spilled bong water on the server and they’re waiting for UPS to bring them a new one?

I’m not sure what I expect them to say, but it would be customary to say something, no? Pretending like everything is normal and just ignoring your public seems weird.

So so true! 2 days not possible to connect in to game and I only see message: We are aware of the situation and are working on fixing it.
What does this remind me of? Something about special operation…
I’m happy that I didn’t spend a penny for this game.

All I said are statements from official staff of related games.

War thunder under DDoS attack : you already mentioned the link.
The other statements are public on the Crossout Mobile Discord Server. I just can’t you the internal communication about it.

What’s the sense in that announcement, if the DDoS attack isn’t addressed?

if the issue persist, the tournament might get delayed again, I guess.

Should I be worried about my credit card information? Is it safe to use the game store? How compromised are they?

“A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack targets websites and servers by disrupting network services. A DDoS attack attempts to exhaust an application’s resources. The perpetrators behind these attacks flood a site with errant traffic, resulting in poor website functionality or knocking it offline altogether.” https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/security/business/security-101/what-is-a-ddos-attack

As you can see, a DDOS attack is not hacking, so all the data are safe.

Not in Cyprus anymore? I guess Orban has better protection for ruskis in these hard times

budapest, russia… it doesn’t matter, the service sucks, maybe that’s why they give us crap as a reward, without consideration for their community, without explanation… obviously the datacenter where they host their products doesn’t have a computer security area, they don’t have a SLA (Service Level Agreement)… deplorable, even in my banana country they have those services, greetings from Argentina

I tell you one thing, I am certainly not spending money on this game until everything has blown over and it working correctly!

You’d think so, but apparently not!

The way this game has been working for many people the past few months, these perpetrators must’ve been at it for a while?!

This may be true, but how long have these DDOS attacks been happening? Months? Cause that’s how long this game has been acting up and in some cases unresponsive!
Are you sure it’s not on your end but on ours??? Like we’ve been told for months!!!

Hosting providers can provide Anti ddos service, but that costs money. That is probably too expensive for small el cheapo publisher like Gaijin.

I dont think so thats the key, I think you should investigate where their servers are before claiming something like that… :love_you_gesture:

Most of those questions were rhetorical, my point being; their lack of an official comment is deafening loud, and screams they DGAF about us. Crossout Mobil Discord? OK, whatever. They have an official forum and an official news section on their main web page. It would make a lot of sense to post whatever issue they have there, so at least people would know they are or aren’t being hacked.

They wouldn’t even do 1000 gas.

A lot of cyber attacks against Russia right now.

If you dont see the real reason why they’re ddosed its your problem, maybe you should turn on tv or radio and listem some news.

I hope devs, give players some more times for Big Chase about 1-2 week more, and give them some reward for problems, for me example I lost 3 days, can´t play raids because when i was at the end game lost and can´t reconnect. Sad times but I hope everything will be ok.

these people are incredible, they give premium for 3 days and a decoration, when they couldn’t even solve their stupid problem, today the problem is still there, with the difference that now you can’t even report the error, because now when the game stops responding, also stop responding the site for reporting. evidence:

It is impossible to play with these Servers.
How do you want someone to spend money on this game?
So, as a compensation, they give 3 days of Premium, what for, if you can’t connect to the Server?
Uninstall and play on a better server company.

I still haven’t encountered any problems, is this mostly a PC thing? Or am I just lucky? Or maybe servers in a particular area are being targeted by an attack?

Queue times occasionally seemed a bit long today, but still under a minute for a PVP match, and no noticeable lag.
