Getting to finally test the new parts, and the brawl that uses some of the new parts…
Is it just me or are they all just kinda bad? Moving with the torpedos is about as frustrating and bad as I thought, and none of the weapons really seem that good in practice, even in the new brawl the Cicadas and elephants are way better than the new shotgun (arguable) and the new machinegrenadegun.

In the past I was not feeling like getting a pass due to the decisions the game kept making and it’s business practices, but with this pass I just…don’t want or need the parts? None of them really feel good at all

The Hybrid could have potential, but I find it to be very not user friendly. The bullet trajectories etc do not really go that well together, so playing wit it feels like that one time I tried to play with 1 miller and 1 thresher and not hitting much anything because of how different the bullets fly and act. With this gun, I end up accidentally switching mode a lot in the brawl when I stop shooting at an enemy and switch into shooting another one, but instead of shooting with the gun I think i am shooting I accidentally switched modes and my bullets or grenades hit nothing because I am thinking I shoot the other type of projectile than the one that ends up flying out. I can see this just being rage-inducing frustrating in use.

Legendary Varun, don’t like Varun mine collect dust for years in my inventory and every time I try to use them I just grow more frustrated in them and wish I did not own them.

The shotgun, dunno if it’s the build or if they just aren’t that great but in use they haven’t really wow’d me in the brawl. I am sure they’ll be a pain in the ass somehow but I just don’t see it at first impression.

Charge booster, surprisingly lackluster, can’t really feel the effect of it on most guns so not as must-have as I though, outside Kaiju or Raijin.

Legendary Cacalina, it’s just catalina 2.0 nothing to see here really, all in all feels about as good as Catalina both are going to give you free MVPs usually

Imagine Shredder on a meta build… But i kinda agree a bit currently. Seems weaker than i thought. Still a lil op tho

As for Corax idk, if it wasn’t so annoying to fire… But it has potential as well.
Just always use the explosive bolt my guess.

After testing it out a bit more in exhibition etc, because they did not put it into the brawl for some reason, I think that the Corax is actually a bit more user friendly than the Varun, especially how the explosive shot works. Basically with the Varun if you break the rhythm or miss the perk window of the shot it’s game over, but with this gun you benefit from not keeping it up, so the thing that absolutely destroys using Varuns for most players is the thing that makes the Corax good.

So it does have more potential than the Varun for sure. But at the same time, seasoned or macro Varun players might not find it very good because of muscle memory, since this gun kinda wants you to use it like a person playing the Varuns the first time would do with Varuns, keep the perk up for 3-5 shots and then mess it up for various reasons, sometimes out of their control with server stability and input hangups and lag, and loose it.

But definitely a lot more user friendly than I originally thought. It’s still a Varun, but it rewards messing up your shots rather than punishing for it

new update looks SH!TE… i’m guessing the starter hardware is whats suppose to buff the devourer and reaper…pretty shit… a disappointment really
