Ghost Update/fix just now…
CR-1 Seagull, Falco, and CR-2 Petrel rotors
Reduced the manoeuvrability of the rotors.
Comment: these changes build on previous adjustments to speed of these movement parts and should reduce their excessive efficiency relative to the main rotors.
“Relative to the main rotors?” Aren’t these THE main rotors? Another rotor nerf. Why not just completely remove them and give us pogo sticks.
Hurricane
Durability increased from 175 to 201 pts.
Mass increased from 288 to 331 kg.
Rate of fire increased by 40%.
Number of rockets per volley increased from 4 to 8.
Damage reduced by 30%.
Added perk: for every rocket in a volley that hits an enemy, the reload speed of the next volley increases by 3%. The maximum effect is achieved when 6 rockets hit.
My reaction after reading this the first time was: is it a nerfed buff or a buffed nerf? Sounds more in line with the Cricket buff, which I appreciated. Hoping it works out the same.
Pyre
Durability increased from 52 to 60 pts.
Mass increased from 81 to 93 kg.
Added perk: increases the damage of all mounted homing rocket launchers by 6%.Comment: the weapon has low survivability and no perk.
Is the 6% increase only applied once, cumulative, or cumulative and compounded? And is the damage increase of a lone Pyre applied to itself?
Assume you have 6 Pyres and each one does 100 points of damage (just to make calculations easier).
Situation 1: Assume the Pyre DOES NOT boost an extra 6% damage to itself. Will each one now do 106 points of damage (flat 6% increase), 130 points of damage (cumulative), or 133 points of damage (cumulative with compounding)?
Situation 2: Assume the Pyre DOES boost an extra 6% damage to itself. Will each one now do 106 points of damage (flat 6% increase), 136 points of damage (cumulative), or 141 points of damage (cumulative with compounding)?
Not nitpicking, just curious.
What gun is that?
A homing rocket buff, never thought I’d see the day
At first the Hurricane damage nerf seemed big, but testing them out, they seem ok honestly. Very nice even
I think that it just gives a flat out 6% to all homing rockets no matter how many pyres are mounted. At least that it feels like when testing the weapon. So sadly running 6 pyres does not mean they stack to insane numbers, every pyre just has a +6% damage. Or if it does actually stack, then explosive damage is just that bad and bugged because running 6 pyres sure does not feel like a +36% damage boost
