theyyyyy… really gave the players the middle finger here in terms of exchanging bearings didnt they…??
i mean… they have the option to make:

Tsunami
Griffon
Omamori
Skinner
Hermit ST
Hermit
Gasgen
Barrier IX
Neutrino
Buzzsaw
Piercer
AD-13 Hawk
Bat
Dun Horse

i mean… this is just a slap in the face really…
also weirdly enough they dont have a fused version of the Commit in the bearing exchange… i just looked at the rewards to and this is really odd. you cant get the fused version of the Commit in the exchange for bearings… it doesnt even say it in the battlepass rewards… did they forget to add it in??

also this

Golden Eagle

Changed perk: “Increases damage protection of weapons (except for melee weapons), the bonus depends on the number of movement parts installed. Maximum bonus is 30% with 2 movement parts, minimum bonus is 10% with 6 movement parts. The bonus does not apply with more than 6 movement parts or none.”

just… why? you couldve given them the additional perk to give the tracks bonus speed to but you had to take that away for DAMAGE PROTECTION!? omg devs…

Hammerfall

  • Energy consumption reduced from 11 to 10 pts.

well i can now see triple hammerfall builds in out future.

idk how to feel about this one…

“The New Frontier” season

Attention! The season and Battle pass packs will be available until June 4 inclusive! On consoles, the Battle pass packs will be available from March 20, 10:00 GMT!

New parts of the season

“Widget” wheels (regular and steering) with changeable suspension height

  • Rarity: epic.
  • Medium wheel.
  • PS: 210.
  • Tonnage: +2100 kg (+1050 kg for ST).
  • Cabin power: -7% (-14% for ST).
  • 25% resistance to blast damage, 25% resistance to ramming damage, 25% resistance to melee damage.
  • Durability: 435 pts.
  • Mass: 230 kg.
  • Perk: “Mode 1”: Increases the movement part’s damage protection by 65% but reduces the armoured car’s maximum speed by 25%. “Mode 2”: Increases the cabin’s power by 80%. The bonus doesn’t depend on the number of “Widget” movement parts, but significantly decreases with other mounted movement parts, or with analogous movement parts in other mode, except for rotors.

“Harmonizer” spread stabilizer

  • Increases the accuracy of mounted weapons. Only 2 spread stabilizers can be mounted on a vehicle.
  • Rarity: epic.
  • PS: 135.
  • Minimum spread: -15%.
  • Maximum spread: -10%.
  • Energy drain: 1 pts.
  • Durability: 125 pts.
  • Mass: 140 kg.
  • Perk: when moving at the speed of 50 km/h and lower, increases the projectile speed of all mounted weapons by 10%. The flight acceleration doesn’t apply to drones and projectiles launched on a plunging trajectory.

“Split” shotgun

  • Fires a shot of 8 shotgun pellets with a large spread. Loaded with 2 shells. After they are fired, the weapon is reloaded automatically.
  • Rarity: legendary.
  • PS: 1600.
  • Ammo reserve: 20 pcs.
  • Penetration ability: 70%.
  • Durability: 396 pts.
  • Energy drain: 8 pts.
  • Mass: 264 kg.
  • Perk: as the weapon deals damage, the charge is being accumulated for all mounted “Split” shotguns. When fully charged, the next 3 shots will be fired from two barrels simultaneously with increased damage and impulse — by 15% and by 30% respectively.

“Commit” crossbow

  • Fires spikes that fly on a ballistic trajectory. The projectiles temporarily get stuck in environmental objects and deal damage on collision.
  • Rarity: legendary.
  • PS: 4800.
  • Ammo reserve: 12 pcs.
  • Penetration ability: 90%.
  • Durability: 1334 pts.
  • Energy drain: 24 pts.
  • Mass: 2052 kg.
  • Perk: deals 85% more damage to structural parts.

“Compiler” turret cannon

  • Fires a burst of 3 projectiles that fly on a ballistic trajectory and explode on hit.
  • Rarity: legendary.
  • PS: 2400.
  • Ammo reserve: 10 pcs.
  • Durability: 1070 pts.
  • Energy drain: 12 pts.
  • Mass: 2110 kg.
  • Perk: after 3 successful hits, the weapon can make a shot on a plunging trajectory when the firing button is held down. The damage from such a shot doesn’t decrease with distance from the centre of the explosion. Each miss reduces the amount of accumulated successful hits.

“Mainframe” cabin

  • Rarity: legendary.
  • PS: 2100.
  • Maximum speed: 52 km/h.
  • Tonnage: 11000 kg.
  • Mass limit: 25500 kg.
  • Energy supply: 23 pts.
  • Durability: 530 pts.
  • Mass: 4400 kg.
  • Perk: as the armoured car’s overall durability is lost, the following boosts that last until the armoured car is destroyed are sequentially activated:
    • 700 pts. — the power increases by 40%.
    • 1900 pts. — the damage increases by 15%.
    • 3500 pts. — the damage protection increases by 30%.

New map “Cradle of mind”

The location is a symmetrical battle zone. The spawn points are arranged so that opponents meet and battle primarily on the left side of the map. Here there are hills, shelters and underground passages designed for battles. The central part of the map consists of tunnels and gives room for tactical maneuvers, allowing you to quickly retreat or stealthily drive into the rear of the enemy and arrange a surprise attack.

The key feature is the base, which is located closer to the edge of the map. This base placement allows you to avoid the “circular movement” of enemies that is characteristic of some other locations. There are also a lot of cover points on this side of the map. They create favorable conditions for maneuvers and battle at close and medium range. On the edges of this zone there are elevated areas suitable for sniper positions.

The multi-levelled nature of the new location is not only useful for the variety of gameplay, but is also important from a strategic point of view: taking positions on a hill gives the team a significant advantage in battle, since you can clearly see almost the entire map from the height of the second level.

The new map is available in “Encounter” missions, as well as battles with all types of movement parts and capsule capture modes.

Clan Wars, Clan Confrontation and Battle for uranium

  • “Taming the dragon” is a PvE brawl for 4 players, with the familiar mechanic of resisting waves of enemies.
  • A group of players is given a limited amount of time, which can be replenished by destroying enemies and avoiding the destruction of their car. Additional time is also granted for completing a wave.
  • If one player’s vehicle gets destroyed, the teammates have the ability to restore the destroyed player back to the battle faster than waiting for the player to be automatically respawned. To do this, you need to get to the place where the player was destroyed and wait for the special recovery scale to fill up.
  • Among your opponents, you will encounter enemies with a variety of roles. To win and survive as long as possible, you need to take their features into account:
    • Berserker — increased damage, but high vulnerability.
    • Cryomancer — uses cryogenic and energy weapons. Leaves a puddle of refrigerant after being destroyed.
    • Rocker — increases the damage of all allies in a certain radius around himself.
    • Chief — after his destruction, all allies in this wave receive a permanent bonus to the damage they deal.
    • Tank — has powerful armour due to increased damage resistance of his parts.
    • Communicator — calls for reinforcements some time after the player enters the detection zone.
    • Hunter — when dealing damage to players, he leaves a mark on them that increases the damage dealt to them. Destroying the Hunter removes the mark.
    • Defender — creates an aura of invulnerability on all allies within a certain radius around himself.
  • The final amount of rewarded resources (copper and plastic) depends on how many waves you survive and how many points you score.

Special challenges and rewards:

  • Day 1: destroy or help destroy 50 enemies in the “Taming the dragon” brawl. Reward: “Humanitarian aid” container.
  • Day 2: destroy 200 parts in the “Taming the dragon” brawl. Reward: 50 Engineer badges.

  • Day 7: earn 10000 points in the “Taming the dragon” brawl. Reward: “Logistician’s container”.

Miscellaneous

Added a number of locations to the “Bedlam” game mode rotation, as well as into the suitable game modes in the Game center.

Solving the “speed inflation” issue

In recent years, the number of ways to boost the speed of the cabin has significantly increased in the game. This led to “devaluing” of speed and increase in the efficiency of armoured cars that use wheels and medium or heavy cabins. Those builds are able to use full bonuses to speed, while builds with light cabins have a maximum speed limit (120 km/h) and other types of movement parts also have their own speed limitations. We have made a number of changes to solve this problem.

Changes to cabins’ speed values and bonuses

The key change is reworking the base speed values for cabins and some of their speed bonuses.

In order to decrease the difference between the base speeds of cabins and their maximum possible speed values, we reduced some speed bonuses from various sources.

Speed bonuses

Type Rarity Name Bonus, %
Before After
Engine Special Hardcore 9 6
Razorback 4 3
Dun horse 14 9
Epic Opressor 20 13

Golden eagle 8 6
Legendary Fin whale 21 15
Oyabun 17 11
Pegasus 10 7
Power nodes Jackie 4 3
Co-driver Phobos 5 4

We then reworked the base speeds of the cabins so that armoured cars with light cabins (with engines) would have about the same maximum speed as before the changes, and builds with medium and heavy cabins would become slower.

Maximum speed

To ensure that the reduction of medium and heavy cabin speeds is not excessive, we increased the maximum speed of armoured vehicles from 120 to 130 km/h.

This change will provide more opportunities to use the light armoured cars (mostly with high PS). In conjunction with the other changes, the cabin types would be more distinct in terms of speed.

Movement parts with speed limits

Engines will now have a new parameter: bonus to the movement parts maximum speed, thanks to which all armoured vehicles that have an engine and movement parts with a speed limit will become slightly faster if the speed of the cabin allows it. The bonus will keep such movement parts relevant in the context of the maximum speed increase, and will allow for more diverse builds in terms of engines and resulting maximum speeds. Upgrading engines’ speed bonuses will affect this new parameter as well.

Bonuses to the movement parts maximum speed

Rarity Name Bonus, %
Special Hardcore 3
Razorback 2
Epic Hot red 5
Colossus 4
Golden eagle 5
Legendary Oyabun 7

Additional changes

All heavy cabins

The effect of mass on acceleration increased by 9%.

Comment: the change will slightly reduce the acceleration of heavy armoured vehicles.

All wheels

Increased the maximum penalty to the turn angle of the rear wheels. Previously it was 50% and was achieved by installing 2 rear ST wheels, now it is 75% when 6 or more rear ST wheels are installed (the penalty remains exactly the same for 2 wheels).

Comment: the change will add additional differences to the turning radius of armoured vehicles with different number of wheels.

Comment: this perk makes the engine a more versatile solution without being tied to a specific movement part type, while still making it an effective choice to be used with most current armoured cars equipped with “Golden Eagle”.

Colossus

Durability increased from 333 to 415 pts.

Comment: the current durability of the “Colossus” is lower than its predecessor. The change will keep it relevant at medium PS in the context of “Golden Eagle” change.

Yokozuna

Perk speed bonus increased from 10% to 15%.

Hammerfall

  • Energy consumption reduced from 11 to 10 pts.
  • PS reduced from 2200 to 2000.

Breaker

  • Energy consumption reduced from 11 to 10 pts.
  • PS reduced from 3300 to 3000.

Comment: partial reversal of changes that were caused by the heavy vehicles with wheels meta and became redundant after the maximum speed changes. Changes to other parts will be made as part of the regular balance changes after the major speed changes are released.

Omamori

The charge now recovers automatically 6 sec. after the last instance of damage taken.

Comment: after a number of changes and the introduction of “Jackie”, the module has become redundant. The change brings back the original mechanics of the perk, but with longer recharge time.

  • When saving a blueprint from the exhibition, you now have the choice of saving the original blueprint or a version with only the parts you have in storage.
  • Added a separate tab for the current battle pass to the garage main menu.
  • Improved the production window and the technology tree:
    • Selecting a part in the technology tree now opens the production window with all tabs, instead of a separate window with only that part.
    • New recipes (including workpieces) are now marked with a “new” indicator.
    • Improved the sorting of locked production tabs at low levels.

Recorded and added new music track for the start of the new season:

  • Fixed a bug that could cause projectiles and bullets to not fly out from the barrel of a weapon when using battle walkers.
  • Fixed a bug that made it impossible to put parts for sale on the market in some situations.
  • Fixed a bug that caused minelayer projectiles to trigger a brief overload effect when hitting a vehicle.
  • Fixed the Y / △ controller buttons not working properly at the exhibition.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the X / :white_medium_square: controller button to not trigger logging into the game.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the inability to select the left-most blueprint using the controller directional pad in modes with preset blueprint selection.
  • Fixed a bug that caused persistent transparency effect of blueprints from the exhibition when selecting a specific part on the vehicle and then scrolling through the blueprints.
  • Fixed a bug that caused screen blinking when quickly buying parts from the market.
  • Fixed a bug that caused “Charybdis” and “Kronos” perks, as well as “Yuki” and “Phobos” talents to activate even if the enemy/wreck were far above or below.
  • Fixed incorrect camera movement when zooming in/out, including when using the built-in scope.
  • Fixed incorrect sorting of players in the results table of “Free for all” modes by K-D (kills-deaths). Improved design: the column with the number of destroyed enemies is highlighted in orange.
  • Fixed a bug that caused “Billy’s” passive talent “Hardened steel” to not affect the “Gravastar” shotgun.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the “Jackie” perk to not affect the bonus damage from the “Helios” perk.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause a number of movement parts to lose paint when going into battle or test drive.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the insufficient reputation recipe lock indication in the badge exchange to not show up.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the number of subscribers to not update after subscribing to an author from the Game center.
  • Improved a number of in-game texts and icons.

oh guys i also want to mention you need even less exp then before to level up now.
instead of 4300 to level now you need 3640 to get to the next level. so you get i think 6 to 7 levels per weekly reset on the missions to.

The free pack has some good stuff for the newer/FTP players, and I’ll be able to upgrade some stuff like my Dunhorse & Trucker cab with the extra ones they gave me; much of the other stuff I can salvage for badges now!

As far as the Golden Eagle track-speed nerf…I was ready to wail and gnash my teeth (that’s a Bible reference for you heathens), but so far I’m NOT seeing that the speed boost for tracks is completely gone. I tested using several different tracks with the GE, and they’re all still moving faster than their base speed rating.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHTTTT!!! DONT TELL THEM THAAAAAAT!! :grimacing:

I actually like this change. Now I don’t need to use Golden Eagle on tracks and roller parts, since other engines will give me more of a speed boost. But at the same time, Golden Eagle will remain a good choice for tanks because of the new perk.
Gives us more building flexibility, and will make all speed limited movement parts faster if we choose to use one of the other engines.
This change will really be good for slower tracks and spiders.

i had a skim over again on the changes and…

yeah i seen they gave them bonus speed to limited speed movement parts. i just woke up not to long ago so i am a bit groggy atm lol.

The trailer was pretty cool, first time ever to feel that way
Can’t really say much of the balance changes yet I can’t play at all, I know there’s always some server issues 1-2 days after an update but it’s never been as bad as now, all day constant frames dropping below 10 server hickups I can’t play anything but my Vulture build because I can’t aim or move

New parts, by testing in the test drive area, big crossbow is my favorite, it’s got way more reach and way less projectile drop than I anticipated, it’s pretty good. Shotguns are as unimpressive as all shotguns currently and surprisingly, not a big fan of the cannon either.

The new accuracy module thing will lead to possibly some bustedness, like a few retcher builds in the exhib with them turning retchers into railgun shotguns

Pretty cool looking forward to getting to actually test stuff out properly once the servers stop coughing up blood

hey check the battlepass, they dont have the crossbow in there available for a fusion trade for bearings. its so strange.

It’s high energy, so you’d never be able to mount more than one. Doesn’t make sense to offer a second untradeable fused one.

This + onimari on a heli would be horrible to deal with

24 POINTS?! omg i did not see that! i swear i did not see its energy cost LOL i thought the energy cost was 12 for some reason lol…

did you see that they gave omamori the original perk back? yep it takes 6 seconds to recharge the perk now and it doesnt need to be fully depleted. they did this cause of the jackie.

This is how we ended up with bricks with guns dumped on the roof with no armour. Devs are arseholes… why reward skilled building when you can just buy the solution

Also mech leg builds get the 100% reward of the Golden Eagle too… Gee, I wonder which narrative they are pushing

Should delete both the fucking things from the game, absolute cancer!

wouldnt that just raise the speed by like… 5km/h? well i assume more on the gerridas…

id say the worst one out of the two is the omamori. adding any amount of extra durability to a gun is a nogo outside of fusions. i dont really mind the jackie so much, just the omamori has caused alot of issues in the past.

no I mean 2 mech legs = 30% Damage resist…

Yep it’s actually better than the Aegis and somehow requires less energy and is less power score… Joke!

Tbh I’d be taking all legendary modules out of the game because at this point it’s just pay to win.
