I got on over an hour ago, and the estimated time is over 5 more hours. I use steam, but does it REALLY need to take that long?
I’m not sure if i can leave my PC on overnight to let it update, and I’m certainly not going to be awake all night. What do I do? 
I was wondering where you were. My update only took somewhere around 10-15 minutes! Maybe it’s an issue with Steam, or maybe there was other heavy internet activity in your household?
Did you try changing the download region or clearing the download cach in steam?
Usually takes mine 30 minutes (ish), but this one told me no

EDIT: still says over 4 hours… and my region is the closest one.
Can you update from the regular launcher, instead of through Steam?

I don’t know what kind of storage equipment you have (hard disk drive vs ssd), but if you have a traditional hard disk drive, is there any chance it’s heavily fragmented? (Right-click on your hard drive, click properties, click tools, then click optimize/defragment, finally click analyze. There’s a few factors to take into consideration, but in general, if it’s 10% fragmented or higher, optimize it, but be sure to do a disk cleanup first.
