I have no problem with mandrakes and heathers having more opportunities to shine. They’re very fun, but severely hampered on many maps.
I just don’t understand how anyone other than dogs and wedges are getting stuck or pinned by wreckages so often. I can only think of one match where I was playing a parser/hermit/deadman build and got stuck in a literal pile of corpses (which was pretty awesome), and one match where my hover got completely tangled on a wreckage.
I feel like I’m playing a different game than some of you.
just because you don’t experience something don’t mean it ain’t happening to other players. You shouldn’t even have to experience it to know the possible scenarios that can play out for you and others, I can even visualize how this can be a hinderance to other players without having for it to happen to me. Here is one example, me using porcs in raids. I play under slung porcs on bigrams in raids and ever since this update I got this big collection of little dead raid bots building up in under my build with me drowning in my own porc fire and cant move cause legs are now slower then they have ever been while the retcher players are going out and stealing the rest of the kills. In the mean time i can’t get no more porcs out and doing self inflicted damage because of this big pile up of these dead little bots stuck in under my build. That is one example. Also you know how fast those raid bot’s are, that mechanical leg power nerf don’t help matters trying to keep with all the hover, flash dawn children raid bots swarming yea destroying your porcs and drowning in your own porc fire and building up in under yea. I always had this problem but now it is at least twice as bad. If you only played the builds that I use your tune would change pretty quick.
Maybe change your builds and play style to adapt to new elements in the game? The raider wreckages disappear on their own anyway. I kind of wish they would continue to pile up, but that would also probably be too hard on the game engine.
And yea they disappear after a long time a bit too long. Maps is cramped enough don’t need more obstacles adding to the already small puny maps with huge builds occupying those said maps leaving behind huge heavy corpses making the already small maps harder to navigate.
anyone else with advice that spends more time actually playing the game instead of the same 5 forum regulars that spend all their time on the forum all day thinking they are holier than thou.
but really, being a wedge player,i don’t mind the corpses at all, sure i get shot at while i push that burning legend players corpse around… that’s a win in my book! ‘oh when i play my laughing horn…Epic’
oh well i thought their would be a 80% chance either rough monkey or poony4u would be first to reply. If devs read my posts at least i got some hope of my voice being heard that’s all that matters.
I had to test the waters, i thought that was what was going to happen but I know for sure now. you’s are the only thing keeping this forum on life support. Time to pull the plug i think lol, just a joke. Take care i’m done here no more posts most likely.
devs knew before the update that these wreckages can be used as cover. They also knew that hovers are now easier to control which was half the point of hover changes to make it more accessible to less skilled players while at same time making wheels harder to control in an effort to kill firedogs and also decreasing turn radius of tracks and increasing power draw of legs making those parts harder to go in and out of said cover. Hover players on pc are using these wreckages to great effect. You might be able to use them as cover and i do to but getting in and out of cover is the problem which hovers can do with ease. They can be in cover one minute then out again way way faster then other movement parts.
